deehtz - 2010-04-04 12:07 AM Well, I did it!  I am now a triathlete!  My race report is up if you want to read about it.  I did okay.  I finished 2/5 in my division and 36/48 in the women..... all mtn bike division.  I am okay with that for a first time and being in the oldest age division.

I am going to bed now.  Good night!

Congratulations!!!  That is awesome!

MDHillSlug - 2010-04-04 3:13 PM beautiful weather for a run; too bad my legs were not as into it as I was. Still, longest run in 9 months and at a decent pace.

Pretty trees!

x2 - outstanding.

Hey team.  Busy day today for me.  Long ride this morning (but shorter than planned due to a flat) and then a group run and swim workout this afternoon.  I usually sleep good on Sunday nights

Oh my heck.  After making it through all of Lent without wine, I opened a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.  Oh, how I missed you!

HollyW - 2010-04-02 8:46 PM Hey Team B....second session finished this evening.  It was a beautiful day out today and the 1st one this week where we didn't have 30 mph wind.  Did a 3.5 mile run after work.

Holly - where are you located in OKC? We live out east off of Harrah/Newalla Road.

Hi Staci - I am about 45 minutes away from you.  I live in NW OKC, right by Lake Hefner.  Are you going to be doing any races in the OKC area this season?

Holly -
I have two races on the schedule this year (it will be my first year (hopefully due to injuries the past couple) but they are both in Tulsa. Going to run the 1/4 and 1/2 Mary for Route 66. The quarter is the first weekend in Aug, the 1/2 is in November. Hubby is getting ready to retire from Tinker so we are in the transition phase and didn't make many plans to race due to that and the uncertainty that comes with it.

I think that bottle is lonely. It wants a friend.

Doesn't look like much but this is going to be a crazy month.  If life is smoother than I think it will be, then I will adjust up.  One week in particular, I do not know if any training will happen.  Frown

Morning team.  I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend.

I got my floors washed this morning.  Does that count for anything?    As far as any tri related activity, I shall ride my bike in a bit.  I need to map out a route and head out to enjoy the gorgeous weather.

I did get a doctor appointment scheduled for my foot.  Friday morning.  So, still no running for me.  Poop.

Screw the no running.  I couldn't help myself.  I ran 3 miles this morning.  It is so sunny and warm out that I had to try!  After the first mile, the pain faded to a dull ache.  We'll see if I pay for it later but it was worth it!

Hi Team--Hope everyone is having a great start to the month.  Today is the first day of my 20-week training plan for the Timberman HIM, which will be my first attempt at that distance.  On this spectacularly warm and sunny day, I went into NYC for a one-loop preview of the MORE half mary course in Central Park.  It was a really lovely afternoon.  Have a great night, Jackie
