I didn't get as many miles in on vacation last week as I had hoped but I promise I will make my goal!  I only need 3 more miles tomorrow so no worries here.

Congrats to all those who already finished up - very impressive!!!

GO MIDWEST TEAM!!!

I am so happy that I joined this challenge. I had never done it before and it REALLY motivated me to get outside when I didn't really feel like doing it. Thanks everyone!!

Terrific job surpassing the 100 mile mark in one month - WOW!!!!!!  I know it was probably a stuggle on some of those cold days - that's gotta make the victory even sweeter for you.  Way to go!!!

Great job everyone.

Sounds like there were some teams with 100% across the board, so what are our consequences?

Maybe we have to hang off the side of a mountain with just a rope and a helmet

I guess this confirms my feeling about folks from the Windy City being a little loco!  Are wetsuits allowed?

Well, I know for the swim challenges, they made the 'losers' (and I'm not referring to US as losers, I know *I* ran a whole lot more than I would've in February without the challenge!) change their avatars to donkeys, hamsters with waterwings, etc.  Anyone heard word of that?

BTW...Thanks to all for the inspiration to complete my challenge goals.  I have not met a nicer group of people than the triathletes here on BT (not that I NORMALLY meet people online...wait, that makes it sound kind of creepy when you put it that way! I think we're a pleasantly different group of athletes).

Ray, thanks for the leadership and doing the thankless job of administration.  Good luck to all!  Have a great season...

I know what you mean! When I ran the Houston Half Marathon in January, City Sky had a party afterwards at her home for the other BTers who ran the race. You should have seen my friends and family when I told them that I was going to a party at the house of "stranger" in the city filled with other "strangers" that I had met on line! That took some 'splaining! Ha! But what a great party!

BTW, I made a hotel reservation in Chicago for Marathon weekend and will register for the marathon tonight. I'm excited and hope to meet some of you there!!

Water Temp is 38 degrees. I will not be wearing a wetsuit. However, I will be dressed as a Pirate with plenty of liquid courage before hand.

hey guys - i just went back to look at the rules for this month's challenge...and it looks like the consequence of losing is merely that we have to know that we lost.  no avatar or sig changes on this one - as the guy who ran this challenge said, "it's all about pride."  so...yay, i was not looking forward to changing my avatar!  it makes losing slightly more palatable .
