Well this week I went up against the powerhouse known as POMNEYNOMICS (What does his name even mean? No one knows, he's so mysterious and amazing). He was very generous and allowed me to pretend like I had a chance of winning by starting off the week with Mendenhall's Achilles on Thursday night football. All this did is get my hopes up that I could beat the clear front runner. Then he even spotted me Steven Ridley, who everyone knew would suck because of how amazing the Seahawks defense is. I was growing ecstatic, I might have a chance. I was up 17 after the afternoon games and still had a potential huge game from D. Thomas on MNF. Then his incredible 1st round selection took the field.

All I could do was stare in horror as Jordy Nelson caught TD after TD. The Texans stopped GB inside the 10? Awesome. Oh wait it was negated 3 times by penalties. Oh look another TD by Rodgers. At this point I was lying curled up in the fetal position begging for my mommy. The carnage continued. Rodgers finished with the 51 points, the best total by far of the season, showing why he was taken #2 overall and delivering a giant kick to my nuts.

I'm not sure I can continue on in fantasy football after the butt whipping I took this weekend.

Don't forget to change your signature. Again.

Anyone want to take note of the awesome Mutiny comeback? Down 35 points going into MNF only to have a deadly Denver QB/K/DT trio hang over 60? To vault the Mutiny not only to the win but to the league lead?

(smack talk is fun when you're winning)

This week's bet was for me to praise his awesomeness. No signature involved.

My other team was ahead by 38 and Mannings comeback failed by 3 points!

In my other league I was up 137 to 66, yes a 71 point spread with only SNF and MNF game left, he had Rodgers, Magahee, and 2 other scruns.  Final score, 166 to 137.

Got to hand it to Rodgers, he sent a message.  Hope to see a Seattle GB rematch.  At the end of the day Im a Coboy fan, hence why I play fantasy football, I need something to look forward to!

Yeah, the second half of Monday's game was not amusing. 29 points from your defense?! Can't believe I lost.

I about crapped myself last night when megatron had 1 catch for 8 yards in the 4th and I was winning by less than a point. Who knew the Lions would suck so bad.

I firmly believed the Lions would suck badly.  Here's why- and not just because I'm a Bears fan- they're a team full of dirty players with major off-field issues.  They NEVER get calls their way, and they're probably more scrutinized than any team other than the Saints.  Megatron getting shut down was more of a surprise though.  The Bears D is unreal.

Isn't it odd we have 3 5-2, 3 4-3, 3 3-4, 3 2-5.

I guess I'm dense because I don't see a pattern much less a story.

Given today's blockbuster and the fact that my team blows, there is a total identity change in the works in hopes of an undefeated 2nd half.

Everyone can be traded. All offers will be considered. I'm avoiding any work at work until a new team name is thought of.

Also, I'm thinking since there are games every Thursday, should there be a faster trade approval process? It's currently 2 days.

Need some input on a situation in another league...

This situation does not effect my team what-so-ever, I am solely bringing this up for the purposes of settling the situation, getting everyone to shut up, and having the concrete rules of fantasy football upheld.

I have a whiner in my league. He wants a tie declared. The points in our league are based on single yard gains. i.e. 1 yard rushing/receiving equals .1pts and every yard passing equals .04 points (or 1pt/10yds and 1pt/25yds) so that you can get credit for every point instead of passing for 49yds and getting 1 point, makes sense. Well in one hell of a contest, said whiner ends up losing 151.14 to 151.10. ESPN, in the scoreboard, rounds to tenths, so it says the score is 151.1 to 151.1, but still declares the other team the winner. (when you scroll over the score, the full score is shown as 151.14 to 151.10). Now the whiner is whining that it should be a tie since ESPN says its a tie (by "rounding") even though they declared a winner and therefore didn't round.

I'll take a Niners win against the 'Hawks over a FFB win anyday.

More points = winner, regardless of how they spell it out, right?

I'd argue you are subject to whatever the provider declares.  Basic math says that .14 is more than .10.
