Bad azz! Are you still doing some competitive weight lifting? I don't have anything on deck right now but there are a few competitions I am looking at going to in the summer. Right now is sprint racing season for rowing so I am reffing most weekends for the next 2 months so not much time for competition. And you do you have any races coming up? You know I want to grow up to run just like you!
eta OK I don't really want to grow up but I do want to run like you. Oh, very cool! I think rowing would be amazing. I think I am a little too short though. I guess I could be the lady in the back barking out orders. I just have the Boston Marathon in 3.5 weeksish. Don't think I will do anything in between now and then.
Well, I wouldn't mind being able to lift heavy things like you. With our powers combined ... hehehe I have short rowers on my team, not a problem, you just have to learn to swing with the boat. Or yes you could be the cox. Good Luck at Boston!!! Sending good vibes your way. Sweet we can be a Super hero duo!! |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: TAN #197: We CAN be polite, TANk u very much! I'm going to bore you with another interesting fact. There is a device called a Scintillation Counter you put in wells to measure the amount of radon in the water. It gets in the water because minute amounts are "squeezed" out of rocks under stress. That boggles the mind. |

Completely not knowing the situation, I have mixed feelings on cutting family out of your life. If they did things that were unforgivable - absolutely. Define that how you wish. But so many gray areas like just not getting along or liking family members - it's hard. My (late) grandmother and I did not get along. The moment I was not a "child" and wasn't forced to do things with her I stopped completely. I don't regret it. She was a thorn in my family's side. But my parents felt differently - God bless them - they were sympathetic and compassionate. They loved her unconditionally even when it wasn't remotely reciprocated. I have huge respect for that.

I bet they both care a lot about you. My father and I would talk twice a year tops, until about 10 years ago, and I lost him to cancer a little over a year ago. I think he always wanted to do more with me, but we were so different that it was difficult for him. It was good that we got back together even though my parents were divorced when I was 5, and I spent 99.9% of my time with my mother. My thing is just don't burn your bridges as they say. |
