If I can get a bike by then, I'd be up for it, I'm all about punishing myself.

I could do that. I'm supposed to start taper on Sunday, but one more big hoorah might not hurt...too much.

Do we REALLY want to do the SOMA course, though?  It might be easier, and more productive (less lights and turning around and wacky crap) if we do Timex loops.  (Rio Salado to Priest to Curry, to McClintock, to Rio Salado).  However, I think we should throw in the hill around the Marque theater just to get that in for good measure.  But I really don't want my 3 hours to be filled with slow downs and stop lights and over all retardedness of the SOMA course!!  (Especially since we have all done it once now, and know what to expect.

Thoughts? Agreement?

If so....I would propose at 6am meet up at the same place....NE corner of Ash and Rio Salado (Jerry...you know where this is at now).  And we will start riding at 6:15.  Run to follow.

What say ye?

It's in Tempe, right?  I think I am in, but have to check.

Woh, woh, woh.......no one said we WANTED hill work.  I just think it would help us to include that hill since it's the hardest part of the SOMA course, but just do a regular rectangle instead of the wonky SOMA course.  Oh, and yeah!!! Let's do the "I get hit by cars on this route every week" Paulette course!!! WOOT! Yeah! I need more of that!!  Hahaha!!!

(Oh, and just so you know....the guys have bets on what kind of underwear you'll be jailin' on the ride!) ;-)

The fewer lights and traffic, the better for me. Just let me know where to be and what time and I'll be there.

Wow, that was no help whatsoever was it?

P.S.  Shhhhh Tanya!!  I have $10  on Zebra Geranimals.  Aaron has Purple Hearts, and Jerry thinks it's going to be Brazilian cut black velvet.

Problem with Nathan's course is that HORRID expansion joint on the Rural bridge. Only way around it is to be in the middle of the two lanes of traffic. That's great when the road is closed, not so much at other times.

That's why we would use McClintock. That bridge sux too, but no horrible exansion crack.  (McClintock is what you come across at SOMA).

Oh and Chris.....you know how Jerry likes thongs.....so he has his money on the brazillian cut black velvet THONG!

Half joking there. The Beeline sucks without traffic control anyway. How about something completely different? Start at Tempe and go around South Mtn. Remember this: http://sportsfun.com/gaba/maps/AroundtheMtn3.doc

I'm going to get you for that Miss "I'll be out of town!" ;-)

My man pants are being neatly tailored for SOMA!  No HUGE deviations from the plan!!!
