dear goggs,

what did you think of b2b course?  i'm considering it for next year (if they have it, every year they seem to threaten to not have the $ to produce it)

Dear Meh.

It was awesome. The swim was with the tide so take your 2.4-mile swim time and subtract 15-20 minutes, the bike course is mostly flat and the run course is a two-loop out and back out and back so you're always near people, except when you go through this dark park, but even so there's people out there.

And they will have it. I saw it advertised in Triathlete Magazine.

I think I'll do Redman 140.6 in 2010. It was that fun.

Your beloved,
Tony

olliedawg - 2009-12-14 7:51 AM Weekend recap - got hammered on Guinness and strawberry daiquiris on Friday night, was hungover until around noon on Saturday, raked my yard, ran 4 miles, ate Chinese food, tried not to get pulled into drunkedness, didn't work.  Sunday, bought Toys for Tots gifts and new running shoes, uncluttered home office, watched football, went to Christmas Town (Busch Gardens)... came home, passed out.

Strawberry Daiquiris? May I see your man card?

Margaritas are good.  Maybe next time I'll see if they can make one with bacon.

There was talk in chat the other day about Bacon Vodka..... I almost passed out...

oh i totally know the perfect girl for you - pretty blonde, ironman, MAKES HER OWN BACON VODKA

Meh, you make your own Bacon Vodka and offering up to Wavey?

the girl is not me - i'm not pretty, blonde (at the moment), or an ironman

You cut yourself short there, Lady Swole.

i had thought about redman as well, but because of cost, i'd rather do a race that i can drive to.  they used to have a half distance, that's the goal for this year, i really hope it's not on nov 13 or i'll cryyyyy.

OK B2B is out.  Baby sister getting married in Vegas that day.

I was surprised at the ease. Races are like women -- if it's easy, I'm in. If it takes a lot of effort and work, I'm not signing up.

So dang frustrating to be on a project and the management can't make a decision to save their life.

I need to do something, but they give me the cart but no horse to work with, and then try to get this done this morning.  WTF??
