Today was the most challenging day I've had in a very long time. Kinda made gettin' busted up in a triathlon seem like a Family Fun Run ... Just whomped. Grateful (like I was not to get run over and make out pretty well all things considered) ... but whomped. |

Melon Presser ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Tee hee hee ... you know I love you all and just being here sure goes a loooong way to feeling, er, perkier. I scared the snot out of two (freshly) former Special Forces guys ... they're hard core everywhere and I don't know how it is in Western countries but here, they really don't care if you drop dead during training, only during missions because you are valuable then. So these guys have seen a thing or two. Actually, the hardest thing about today is that my mom was a train wreck from the Alzheimer's and because she could sense all the stress in the house and was reacting badly to it. Seeing that, and feeling pity, but also trying to manage her was ... well ... damn, if you've ever been in a similar position you know what I mean. That alone is really draining in every way, never mind everything else. A lot of people were angry at a lot of people and some people really did want to kill each other (me included, both as killer and killee ... ) I think the high point of my day was the two hours with citibank over not cancelling my mom's CR and acct and trying to hold us responsible for unauthorized charges after that. BIG ONES. Seriously, that was the easiest and least aggravating part of the day (and it was difficult and convoluted). Nah, actually, dinner with my mom. I took her out because it had been a long hard day, several people got fired (I fired them), and those are people who had been hired to care for her and cook for us. Nah, actually, grocery shopping with her after ... I bought her ice cream to keep her occupied while we shopped and she was happy as a clam and in a joking mood. P.S. Yes we ordinarily have people to handle all of this (except my mom, that's my job) ... and every single one of them was gone for some reason (just married, handling Dad's business in another city across the country, etc.) Edited by TriAya 2011-07-05 11:40 AM |

Lots of {{{Melon Presses}}} to destress though and well just cause I want to, I mean how could I resist. Admittedly, it isn't unusual. It was just the most concentrated and challenging set to fall in one day in a while. I do very much adore your melons and the pressing thereof. |

So I was instructing them that these beyotches were never to be on premises or even approach the premises or even breathe within the neighborhood OF the neighborhood of the premises, etc. They were very snappy and at attention blah blah yes ma'am yes ma'am as usual ... I finished with, "You understand this is for THEIR protection, not mine." And they saw the look in my eyes, realized I was in no way whatsoever joking, and they went, "urk." |

Heh you are very flattering. Funny it is that the true piglets under our roof, I do not believe I could PAY them any amount of money that would make them give in to me in that way. I think they'd rather die first. For one thing they've been pretty heavily pre-screened, if you will, and then we take the cream of the outgoing crop. FIGURATIVELY speaking, of course. So maybe they think about it, but they kinda just looked like rabbits at that moment. I've been surrounded and raised by Special Forces guys and highly trained Dobermans. And I turned out to be a bloody kitten. I suppose I can pull big meanie face if I have to and even act it out some, but ... I'm a puddy tat! |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() 'Afternoon Y'all. I'd say it's been a quiet day, but I still have 4 hours before the end of my shift and I don't want to jinx myself. TriAya - 2011-07-05 9:36 AM ] Who needs trust for trysts? A little trust is always nice; I wouldn't want to worry about waking up in a bathtub full of ice and missing vital organs. It would ruin the moment (or two, depending on how long I last). Sincerity doesn't need to be 100% (go ahead and lie to me about how attractive, smart, charming, etc, ad nauesum, I am), but a little is nice. |
