Two blackened chicken breasts, white rice, and sweet tea.

Trying to be *a little bit* healthy but still enjoy a meal, y'know?

Sweet tea makes me wanna varmint.

I swear I was in Texas just after boot camp at a little cafe and ordered iced tea and the b**ch brings me some sugar water. I literally spit it all over the tables and yelled `WHAT THE F*** IS THIS!?' Yeah, very uncool, but needless to say it was a schok to the system.

Fixed.

When you *almost* have to chew it, you know it's sweet enough.

Rynamite - 2008-07-18 2:04 PM I think I'mna go home fairly soon.

Boo on you...I am still stuck here. Have fun at your meat-and-beer-fueled grillfest tomorrow. I will be eating lots of carbs and not drinking beer so I can get up at like 5am and go raceon Sunday.

It's interesting to see how different everyone else approaches races.

I'd be all about the beer the night before.

Beer sometimes makes my GI tract a bit unhappy...not something you want while you're running.

Takes training.  Heck, I've run 2 mile time trials while still inebriated.

I mean, it IS a bit nasty sometimes, but other times, it's soooooo good. I'm not from the South, so I didn't grow up drinking it.

Geniuses used to schedule our Sunday soccer matches at 9am, immediately following LSU home games.

Good times. The trick is not to stop drinking.

It's REALLY bad when you still need a DD after the game...

This was PT when I was in the Army.

I took PT tests while still shnookered.  Scored pretty well, too.  Sit-ups kinda suck, though.

Once you cross the MS/AL border, sweet tea goes away. Very interesting.

Rynamite - 2008-07-18 2:22 PM I used to drink sweet tea like crazy. Now I like unsweetened.

I've only had it a few times. I mainly drink water and the very occasional alcoholic beverage. But it was tasty the times I've had it.

You can also get it in parts of WV, KY and TN... My Mom was far from Southern and I drank my fair share of sweet tea. Not so much anymore.

Akido did you find you some Mongolian BBQ? I really like those places. They are great for people with food allergies (like me) or picky eaters (like me). I can load up the bowl with as much of whatever I want and not have to tell the waiter 'none of this, extra of that.' Mmmmm!

Those people need to learn how to properly boil a crawfish.

Unseasoned and served with melted butter is NOT the proper way, in case anyone was wondering.

I almost had to be restrained from giving the chef/cook a piece of my mind that fateful day in Charleston...

I have been to several, but I just can't remember where!  They are sometimes offered at the buffets, but I try to avoid those...

That's what I like about them to.  Get to make it my way...

15 min (or sooner) and the weekend starts!

I need to get home and see how the landscapers are doing.  I'm really looking forward to it.  We had a patch of crappy grass and a little rock garden, but it really wasn't usable.  so I am installing a putting green and some lounge space with a fire pit where the rocks used to be.

I'm stoked to see how it's turning out....

OK - embarassing question...  What IS sweet tea?  Something more than tea with some sugar?

If it's just regular tea with some sugar in it, what's the deal?  I like putting a packet of sugar or eqaul in my tea....  Is it THAT repulsive?
