Put down 34 minutes more this morning!  It was 81F with 100% humidity and some sprinkles.  I want to log it but somehow I can't get into the spreadsheet today.  Someone remind me of username and password...

Mornin' everyone.  I got some (well, very little) speed work in this morning.  It's going to be a crazy day at work, but I hope to get a bike ride in this afternoon.  Keep your fingers crossed for me!

BTW Cheri, I just read your race report from your HIM. Congrats even if I am late, you did an awesome job out there

Thanks!  It was fun, but I'm so glad it's in the past now.

Well, that isn't what I want to hear with mine coming next week.  Tell me how much you want to do another!

Morning everyone!  (Wow, it's actually almost afternoon here.  Where did the morning go?)

Work is making me crazy.  Everyone is tense and at each others' throats.  I don't like it.  I took this job to get away from that kind of stuff, and then they went and changed things and made everyone grumpy.

On the bright side we did get an offer on the house yesterday.  We are now in the negotiation phase.  It's only been 9 days since we put it on the market, so if it doesn't work out I'm not too worried.  It's just more to think about on top of work.  I think I'm taxing my brain capacity as it is.

I was really lazy and put my bike back on the trainer this morning so I could watch TV instead of worrying about where I was going.  (And there is a carnival at my son's school this evening which got rained out yesterday, and I didn't want to make it rain again.)  Tomorrow is a run day.

So you're the one responsible for the rain??  Suckage on work front, but I'm glad you got an offer on the house.  I hope the negotiations go well.

Every time I try to take my bike outside it rains.  That doesn't bode well for my tri!

Funny, I was just thinking about beer.  I have this beer bread mix sitting in the cabinet at home, and should make it this weekend.  And, of course, you can't buy just one beer....

Uh, yeah -- that's what I meant.

Actually, I am so very, very glad I did it.  But the OWS was frightening to me (a woman in my wave gave up after 5 minutes!).  I MAY consider another one (some year!), but not swimming in the Gulf of Mexico.  Most days are calm, but this one wasn't!

Happy Monday everyone! Got my Monday run this evening. 4.8M

Nice, way to squeeze one in under the wire.  Maybe we should all practice that for June 30th....

You can try. But I'll be tasering people on the 29th.

Ummm how fast can you run?

Why do you think I asked about the range of the taser....

OK. I'll start tasering on the 28th instead.

Start on the 28th??  Does that mean you won't be tasering anyone until then?  Because that has to be like some sort of record for you.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Don't be silly. Of course I'll be tasering before then.

Were you volunteering to be first in line?

Your workplace sounds like my workplace. I'm thinking of replacing everyone's name tags on their office doors. Each will simply say, "I. M. Grumpy."

Congratulations on the offer! Wow, 9 days? That's fast!
