enders_shadow - 2008-07-06 12:06 PM Afternoon, Nibbs... If my brunch ever digests, I'm heading to the pool for a little swimmy swimmy. Mmmm. Brunch. That is all.

what was for brunch?

It was called "French Quarter" and it was poached eggs on French baguette topped w/ gruyere, cajun hollandaise, and chorizo. It was nummy.

that sounds very yummy

I think I'm hungry

Ding ding ding ding - give the girl a prize. She really knows her brunches!

I didn't even know they did brunch, but I had a coupon for it.

Usually 48-72 hrs but the flight with bad ears will be painful at best.  Do whatever you can to cut down the pressure in the canal on take off/landing.  Gum, yawning.....whatever you can!

I have my nasal spray, decongestant and ear planes ready to go

this is not good..................

If I had a choice I would cancel the flight -

[/QUOTECan't say that I blame you for wanting to do that!  Maybe your steward crew will have a good suggestion too.  I remember a flight from CA to PA that included a person with a nasty ear infection in serious pain and they tried to help him out, just don't remember what they did for him other than the gum/yawning tricks.

unfortunately I'm an old pro at this - I'll ask though

the regimen my ENT gave me a few years ago has been a life saver - frankly I'm shocked I haven't had trouble up until now

I've always had trouble with my ears, which is why they put a tube in it a while back -

I ruptured my inner ear canal about 15 years ago flying - lead to lots of fun equilibrium issues - LOL
