Hi all! I just got off my brand new trainer. A little 30 minute ride. Me likes it lots

In other news, hubby just got home from the sand dunes with some old high school friends. he's only 6 hours late. How mad should I be? He was supposed to be home for a family activity with our daughter's scout group earlier.

I'd be pretty mad

Oh.dear.  That would be a pretty big deal in our house... anything that involves not showing up for a kid's activity when one is expected to goes to the top of the "mad" list.

I would be really mad, especially if he didn't call.  I can deal with my husband being a little late so long as he calls.  Not sure about 6 hours and missing a family activity.

Mornin' Nibbs...

I'm slowly arising from the dead.... I'm actually vegging hard... to the point of skipping church and not answering the phone... I do wonder who that was calling???

Very true. He left you with all those kids?

I think you should be.... um, how about: "New Tri Bike required as apology" mad.

Holy Cow!  I rode for another half hour on the Blue.  There's no comparison.  It's like a Ford (my Sweet Mama Fuji) to a Porsche (Bleu the Blue). of course you want to ride the Porsche.  I climbed up the hills in the neighborhood averaging 16 mph on the climb.  For reference sake, on Sweet Mama I barely make 9 mph on the same hill.

Hi, Kids!  What's happening?

I've spent the day nursing a bit of a hangover.  Trying to decide if I want to drag myself off the couch and head to the pool.
