I think it's been what, a week?  I've been SUPER careful!   No worries, wait a day, I'm sure another one will pop up!

Morning all.  Celebrated reaching my running goal by taking two days off training Actually was busy at work with the office move and at home installing hardwood floors, so got plenty of exercise work in.

Actually made it up this morning at 5:20am for a ride.  Was a rare cloudy day in Vegas which made it extra nice.

On a totally non-tri topic...we're dog sitting a few weeks for one of my wife's friends-friends who's moving. He's a good beagle, but he's an absolute destroyer of anything he can get ahold of to chew. He even ate our son's soccer ball yesterday! At least it's motivation to keep the kids toys cleaned up off the floors.

running4beer - 2009-07-01 9:31 AM Great job everyone!

And thanks for the encouragement -- it may not sound like a lot to most of you, but with my 10 sessions this month, I posted my most running miles in a month for 2009!!  Woo hoo!

And, I probably posted more posts in a month for 2009, too

Great job!  Posting-wise and running-wise!

What's for lunch?

I had whole wheat pasta with roasted eggplant and red pepper in vodka sauce.  It was sunny out (for a change) so I walked to the good cafeteria in another building.

I'm gonna miss the good food topics next month. I'll have to find those of you who are in the TdF challenge if we're on different teams to check on ideas for dinner.  Although....eggplant won't be on my list I've gotten better at eating veggies, but there are still many on my unlikeable list.

Mixed field greens with roasted vegetables (onions, zucchini, and yellow squash), goat cheese, and chicken with a balsamic vinegarette... topped off with some wasabi peas....

Oh yeah and jello cup for dessert

To balance out my rabbit food lunch yesterday, I had KFC today.   Actually, that may have tipped me over the edge despite all the carrot and lettucey goodness from before.

I left my desk for lunch for the first time in over a month!  (I know, I need to have my head examined.)  But anyway, went to a nice restaurant on the water and had a "Boom Boom Shrimp Salad" -- yummy!
