My tonsils are seriously the size of golf balls today, but otherwise I feel fine.

What gives?

Since Cheri isn't here to say it... waxing, much more efficient than plucking.

In time, man, it'll come.  A few months back, I didn't even think I could run 7 miles.  And I probably couldn't have!

I have found that that is about my pace if I run without the aid of a watch or anything.  If I use a watch, I go faster, but I hurt a lot more.  I need to really stick to about that pace when I go for my runs.

Wow, I'm impressed... we're actually talking about training in TAN.

I ran into someone the other day that I haven't seen in a few months and they said, "holy carp you've lost a lot of weight.  You're really hot."

Not sure how to take that, but I went with a compliment.

Isn't it funny how you don't ever really realize that about yourself? (lost weight, not hotenss)  I know that I have, but not a "holy carp" amount.

It's so true. I think it's because you see yourself every day, so you see so many incremental changes.  When someone doesn't see you for a long time, they just see one massive change.

But congrats.  That's always good for the ego...  (just what you need, someone to stroke your ego...  :P

Well that's awesome, man.  Not the hurting, or slacking, but the 10k part.  Now time to work on the speed...  That's my plan for the winter, at least.  Gotta get down from 5'00"/km to hopefully around 4'15"-4'20/km next season.  That would be ideal for me...
