Huh. Well how do you say French toast in French?

Still staying put. Used the cat to wipe up something on the floor.

Pain perdu. "Lost bread" is the translation.

Once upon a million years ago, I knew that. Not the "lost" bit, but if I'd thought about Perdita and perdition, maybe close.

Tummy is rumbling, but I feel better after a baby-wipes bath.

You shouldn't use babys for that.

Well, I already used the cats to wipe the floor (see above) and the dogs are stinky, so the babies are all that were left.

And they call "French Fries" "Fried potatoes". Seems to make so much sense...

Indeed, and as they should, because they're actually Belgian fries.

Strangely enough, today is actually National French Toast Day in the U.S.

Almost time to go home! I think I'm going to run to the gym then do a spin class. Because that's how I roll. Well, run and roll, anyway. BOOYAH!

Gym lived through his grandma's passing, kicking azz at IMAZ, 20-needle biopsy, cooking for a gazillion guests at Thanksgiving, and his birthday ... all in one week.

If you PM me your e-mail, I can forward you a copy of my current rental agreement with my landlord. She's the homeowner, and I'm renting directly from her.

How is it humanly possible to sleep, like, 20 hours a day? Do other people do that when they're sick?

It’s raining. It’s a Monday after a long holiday weekend. I’m at work. It’s got to be 5 o’clock somewhere. Can I go home?

@ Yanti...with mono, yea, it's possible to sleep that much for sure.

Humph ... yeah ... apparently typhoid fever is a big deal. Especially if it's the kind that won't die. DIE, SUCKER, DIE!!!

It's 5 o'clock in Melbourne, Australia, and they sure drink a lot there. In fact, Melbourne Cup is the single biggest drinking consumption at an event anywhere in the world.

It's 5am, but I'm sure that doesn't matter to the Melbournians

Be sure you don't get dehydrated. Can you handle some Gatorade, Cytomax, whatever to keep your electrolytes in check?

Electrolytes. Why do I always forget important shyte like that? Was dehydrated/electrowhacked when I went to the hospital, they started dripping stuff into my veins right away. Thanks, love.

Not for nothing I have several cases of Powerade in the house (it's better stuff here, not like the crap in the U.S.)
