A friend that's done a HIM joked with me that it's funny when these previously impossible distances become our 'short runs'. So very True.... I still remember the days when I couldn't run 1 mile on a treadmill. Congrats on your new PR for distance. I still can't run 1 mile on a treadmill....bleugh hate that machine. It wasn't because I hated the machine... it was because I physically could not run 1 mile. LOL Now, I can't get motivated to put on my shoes for anything less than 4 miles... |

When we moved to Australia I was into the gym but running - nope. I had a standard response "I don't run, I can't". Then one day I just did...I just ran round the lake and it was 5km. I couldn't believe it. Now two marathons done Lord knows how many halves. Now I run every day. Today I felt a bit cheated that I only had time for a 1500m swim at lunchtime, didn't seem worthwhile getting wet for that. |

Checked the race out and found that there is a series of 100's in Alabama this year. Might do a few of them. |

We get turned on by you ladies talking about nibbling each other's arms and having wild nights. Now I have this urge to talk about muscle cars, football games, and the best micro beers available. |
