Nibbs originally was an abbreviation of an abbreviation of a challenge team name back in fall of 2007. That team was extraordinarily chatty and chose to continue chatting even after the challenge came to an end. They welcomed others into their threads and now 40 threads later, here we are. I have this feeling I've seen it before, when I was on the Challenge board back in 07, but it seems to have taken on quite a life of its own. no worries about bursting in! and what is a nibb, well anyone who posts here is a nibb and everyone is welcome it all started way back when, during the first challenge that Dee (D001) organized - your's truly (tinkerbeth - aka lastcall2003 - aka beth) was one of the team captains our team name was 'they who shall not be named' - which somehow morphed over time to nibbs - several variations such as nibbins, twsinibbins and so forth finally nibbs stuck for some inexplicable reason - the nibbs thread became 'party central' for the challenge forum during that november - we really kind of even lost track of who was actually on the team, every chatty person in the challenge was posting in the thread omg - totally forgot about the leg pics - ooh la la!! there were some great pictures posted during that challenge - i even took to posting nibbs notes - which became the chronicles of nibbs and even had it's own separtate thread so people could keep up - can't even count how many posts there were during the challenge anyhoo, we've been around ever since - just somewhere to post even if you're not participating in a challenge but love the challenge forum i'm sure i've left something out...dee and cat will fill in the blanks |

We are also home to *cheesecake*, Dee's whips and tasers, people with various health and injury issues over the last two years, the rules of post padding, Little Debbies and well any food group thats not healthy... wralking and wogging, cockroaches at the pool, a couple of hot bikes, some awesome cooks and story time Im really lucky to call these people, who i have never met in real life, good friends who have supported me through and interesting couple of years |

(Fun reading!) Not sure how many threads we blew up in the course of the first month. Does that explain it? Either that or it leaves you more confused

I was on a losing team for the Oct Run Challenge that year (hence the avatar) way back at the beginning. I started going through some personal stuff at that time, and wandered away from BT for a couple years. Now look how far the nibbs have come. Pretty cool. Challenge Forum was always my favorite. COJ was never my scene, gets a little scary over there. |
