Go look at many of your posts. Find one that ends with a period. Look at the word directly preceding the period. Chances are, it is a preposition.

I questioned if you were part of the Propostion Police because at several points in the preceding 53 pages, certain BT members have been "propositioned" by other BT members.

Newleaf's definition of a dangling preposition was correct.  A dangling participle is when the subject of an -ing verb and the subject of the sentence do not agree.
