That would make it even worse! |

He qualified for Kona a couple of times and did it once. He's also into Ultra ... Impressive... I am getting close to getting my head wrapped around a half, an IM still seems like a long way, but a double??? That is crazy... I even heard rumor of a different insanity - triple IM - you know after you knock out the 7.2 mile swim and the 336 mile bike ride, go ahead and do three marathons - 78.6 miles. Triple IM - for the OCD Athlete! Once I did some research on the internet and found that there's a 10 * Ironman once a year. Yeah you read right ... 24 miles swim 1120 miles ride and a 262 miles run to finish it off http://www.multisport.com.mx/deca/index.htm Um, is this all at once? I think I'm going to have to click that link! |

And no, I don't think that 1 second is important. (Unless the 2nd place finisher is on your heels.) |

It's a strange collection of stuff, including my daughter's mountain bike, a lobster pot and a snow shovel. People passing me on the highway can entertain themselves trying to figure out where I'm going for the weekend. A lobster pot and a snow shovel? I'd just figure that you were from Maine. |
