Wow....those are pretty impressive!  I know why they put so many plates and screws in there!!

I think xrays (and CTs and MRIs) are so cool that I don't think I could get squeamish.  There are parts of medicine that I would love to practice, but I don't think I'd make it through a residency.  I don't deal well with body fluids (also makes me concerned about having children).

Those are pretty much my exact thoughts.  I'm just hoping the gaps in the bone fill in and there are no more surgeries.

and i might throw in an 8K this saturday (got a 64min run on the schedule anyways)

7/19 allen stone run-swim-run at va beach (i almost did this last year but chickened out)
7/25 sprint in burlington NC  (i would probably not do this cause of the travel)
9/20 sandman sprint va beach (but this is a week after my oly)

it starts to become a question of budget, really.

Then do one of the Sprints.  And not the one the weekend after your Oly.
