I'd come out and watch the end of the marathon, but I've got a 40 mile ride on Saturday morning for century training.
We just got a "real" training plan, so I've got that to follow now as well. Except, according to the training plan,
we have a 65-mile ride the day before Kinetic (and a 45-miler the day before CB, which I will probably only do half of at most, and easy at that).
Kinetic is only a sprint and it's not like I'm gonna win my AG or anything, but I feel like 65 miles is a lot the day before a race.

It is supposed to rain on saturday so maybe you won't be biking afterall. Unless you are really hardcore

We're riding, rain or shine. He wants us to get used to riding in all conditions, since anything could happen on May 17th.

Actually I have reserved May 17th as a sunshine only day.  So don't worry about the rain.

Depends on the cat, and it depends on the eagle. Lion vs. bald eagle; I'll take the bald eagle. There is an eagle from South American that has a 7 foot wing span and picks 30-40 pound monkeys out of trees for prey, so I would take that over a house cat.

I've seen plenty of bald eagles get their a$$ kicked by ospreys, like pile driven into the ground a$$ kicking.   they are cooler, they could take down a lion or even a liger.

Me too! BITM's birthday is on April 17th! We should selebrate it a t Kinetic by doing OWS in a hell of a cold water. I will bring a cake. Hmmm, may be Chrissy should bake one since she is THAT good.
