Seriously  -If I get one more customer that calls me up and starts to chew my butt for not getting their stuff, only to find out that they are delinquint in their bill and we have held it until they pay - I am going to go off on someone.  Then they call in and pay their bill and want me to trip over myself to get it to them.  Not gonna happen.  I'm not taking on extra cost so that your mistake is covered. Great Ceaser's Ghost!!  Pay your bills.

I defintiely know the sales guys that use all canned phrases. If one more vendor comes in and tells me I can shift my viewpoint to an out of the box methodology and create a whole paradigm shift into value based efficiency improvement I'm going to slash his tires. A couple months ago I had a guy who was so catchphrase heavy I called his boss and told the guy if he didn't get a technical salesperson out here instead of a marketer that there was no point in making any followup calls.

I'm not a big fan of "decision support system".  Who came up with that one?

I've decided that most of REM's songs that were not released on the radio were not very good.

Why not? The title says what it does.

Because we people throw it around all the time.  And sometimes they don't really need a "decision support system", they just need a couple hundred lines or code or a halfway decent web page.  Decision Support Systems can be big complex things, but often times they are just dinky little software programs.  But then again, I get annoyed when everyone is a beer and/or wine connoisseur and is dropping lots of fancy terms that they picked up from watching a few episodes of Rachel Ray.

Har Har Har. Of course I do, I'm a 90's rock junkie. I'm actually listening to a Live as I type this.

Ah, that brings back the summer after my sophomore year in college.  Many a beach car ride was spent wailing out Live and Sublime lyrics.  Good times.

We don't want to hear any carp from any of you LSU freaks.  Go and find Bear and DerekL and snark around all you want.  October 25th is the day of reckoning, and there will be tiger blood spilled on your home field.

(ooooooh, spooky!!!)

It just occurred to me after reading that wedding band thread... that if my wife dropped her wedding ring into a bowl of rings I would have zero chance of picking it out. Is that bad?
