Nibbs is not like TAN. (Well, maybe it is. But just a little. Then again, we've never had a thread pulled. LOL)

The History of NIBBS:

In November 2007, a challenge team was created.

The team selected the name "They Who Shall Not Be Named" aka TWSNBN. This was eventually shortened to "Nibbs."

Nibbs stuck around. We're now up to Nibbs XL. (XL doesn't stand for "extra large," but "40.") By tradition, TinkerBeth (LastCall2003) always starts the new thread.

Everyone is welcome to post on Nibbs. However, once you post there, you are officially a "Nibb" yourself. (As QueenZipp put it recently, we're just one big [dysfunctional] family.)

Here are the posting stats. (This is from my blog.) These numbers are for the FIRST month of Nibbs only (from Nov 1st through Nov 30th, 2007):

And since I have a race tomorrow I can't train much

Good morning team!

I woke up this morning to find a huge hole in my living room window.

Some idiot decided it would be fun to throw a chunk of concrete through it in the middle of the night

So I got to spend the morning cleaning it up and talking to the cops.

I am soooooo ready for a bike ride now!

Man that sucks

Well yes, but I think I have sufficiently high post count as it is.

What amazes me is:

1) Why some people are such idiots.
2) How someone can actually sleep though the sound of a concrete breaking through a window.

I've also made a mental note to never ask to crash on your couch if I pass through Ames IA, unless I also bring a plate of shatterproof glass to put over your living room window.
