Sensei ![]() | ![]() Hai TAN. 90 more minutes of work... Today has been a "party day" for me. Get juiced up on caffeine (2 cups of coffee and a NOS energy drink), joke and laugh with the boss a bit. Now in my TAN phase... Work is taking us out to lunch and a movie, then go home to a waiting wife who has been gone all week as usual. yay! happy day. Please don't let a bad phone call come in. Maybe I should unplug my phone and email? |

Sensei ![]() | ![]() I think the Political Joe forum is just a great idea. My prediction? It will really reduce the conflict on the site. Why? Because only the people that want to argue will even go in there. The general browser will stick to regular CoJ. I also think the there are a lot of threads started by certain individuals ONLY for the intent to start up controversy. When it was in regular CoJ, it got a lot of eyes and people would comment. If it has to stay in a separate forum, it won't get the traffic or only be the usual suspects and since it won't get the traffic, I think fewer inflammatory/controversial threads will even start. Look at the gun thread. Separate it and restrict it to one thread/forum? It basically died. Shoot, half the stuff I got involved with was only because I noticed it when I was bored when browsing for more entertaining threads in CoJ, not because I really wanted to get into it. I just wonder what qualifies to go in there. I can almost guarantee that certain people will still try to post to CoJ to try to stir things up when the reaction they want doesn't happen in the new thread. I hope they get put into their place quickly. |

I'm doing a Sprint tomorrow morning, helping to wire a pool tomorrow afternoon, then spending the rest of the weekend with a lady friend.
Existing pool, dig a trench from the house to the pool building for the pump/heater/filter. My brother just bought the place and is trying to get the pool up and going, but we discovered that while the line going out there has 120v as it should at the panel, it is only showing 7v out at the equipment shed... so, we're just disconnecting it and pulling a new circuit with new conduit, etc... While you have the ground dug up, lay a second pipe for future wiring. Put a string in it as well to pull any new wire. You may want to use heavy gauge wiring and put a 100amp sub-panel in the shed. Also, put in a new grounding stake and reground the equipment and pool itself. Notice the intentional use of "pipe" and not conduit? That's some great advice Dave. Builders have the hole dug and forms up for my house. Any clever ideas like that I should ask them to do there? |

I leave the electrical design stuff to my Dad, he was an electrician by trade. Knowing him, we'll be bending galvanized pipe, though I'd prefer to work with the gray electrical PVC, hehe. As long as he's the one doing the bending, I don't care which it is
I like the idea of the second pipe... thanks!! |

What is it about the sport you prefer over the super sport? The liter supersport (ZX 10) is sick. I'm not thrilled with any suzuki offerings, but for the big brands, I sill think the R1 (Yamaha) is insanely cool and the Honda CBR is nice. Dream bike is still probably the MV Agusta F4. The exhaust alone is worth the price of admission. The BMW HP4 is an acceptable alternative if someone wants to loan me 23k |
