Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.  They just came out with S5, so this is one still pretty up to date model.  And the mini of course has a slightly smaller screen, but all the capabilities I think.  I have two weeks to play with it and exchange it if I want.

I took a few pictures, but I need to play with the zoom more.  I was thinking about Instagram, but I havent done anything yet.

Tell me why, if you are hired to clean a building, you don't clean it?  Why would you think you can pick and choose what you want to clean?

Can you tell we are having a cleaning issue here at the library?

My work day is done at 8:40, which is good because I'll need a short nap when I get home before I spend the afternoon running around with Keri.

I've been up since shortly after 1:00, and I've been at work since 4:10. No one should want that nonsense.

So here's the dilemma in the Speelman household this week.

Keri is a softball player. She pitches, catches, can play all the infield positions no problem, could probably play outfield, too, but no one's ever put her there. She wants to play softball for Tennessee. Ok.

She has a pitching coach, sort of. She coaches HS softball, and does some work with Gettysburg College. She played DIII softball. She doesn't have the warmest personality. She charges $20 an hour for coaching.

I contacted the person above earlier in the week but didn't hear back from her. I emailed the head coach at Gettysburg College and asked her if she could recommend someone for Keri as a pitching coach. She's seen Keri pitch, she actually pulled us aside at the clinic in January to tell me and Keri she thought Keri was doing an outstanding job. She got back to me, and gave me the name of her sister, who was also at the clinic but worked with the older girls. Her sister played DI softball, she played in the WCWS (Women's College World Series), and she's been an assistant coach for DI. She has a much more outgoing personality, and when I talked to her on the phone she seemed excited about working with Keri. She charges $40 for coaching.

The first coach got back to me, and Keri is going to see her today. We have an appointment with the second coach next Friday. We need to pick a coach. I told Keri she could work with both, see what she thought, and then we'd decide. Donnie wants me to just go with the original coach because she's cheaper. Personality wise I like the second coach. I'll have to see how she does with Keri though. The cost doesn't really bother me. Donnie isn't paying for it, I am, so that's a lame argument.

No, didn't say I want your schedule, just wish my day was ending early today.

My work day today isn't! The dog didn't know that and woke us up earlier than normal. That is okay, I'll get a nap later anyway.

I would pick the one that worked best with Keri and who cares about the cost. You never know, the first coach may not be warm and fuzzy, but do good work. or the second one may be better with Keri. Having a choice is good.

Ok, I'm heading out in a minute. I don't know if I'll be back on a computer today or not.

Have you ever been too tired to sleep? That about sums up my weekend.

Here it is April 21 and on my crossword a day calendar, I am on April 2nd.  Guess I'm a bit behind!

Doing the quick math, I don't think you're doing 1 a day.

Good Morning Ghoulies.  Hope that everyone had lovely Easter.  We enjoyed our day.  It was fun watching the kids hunt eggs.  So far I am quite happy with my new phone.  It took really nice pictures.

So I made the mistake of looking at my upcoming calendar. YIKES!

This week, all of May, all of June, except for the week that we are on vacation, and most of July are crazy. Caleb will start soccer practice for the school the first week of August, and school is back in session August 19th. Keri is playing in 5 softball tournaments with her travel team, plus 14 for her rec team, and all those practices. Plus, our 12U team needs a catcher for a tournament in June, theirs will be away, they asked if Keri could play. She said yes. She likes to snack a lot, and I try to limit it, but seriously, I'm going to have to be shoving food at her with as active as her schedule is.
