Put me down for 110 miles for the month. Does roller skiing count for running? If it does, add another 20 miles.

Sure, count me in. I'm not quite the runner that some of y'all are (yet), but put me down for 20 miles.

I'm in for 5 hours of running.  Here's my motivation to start running again.  Here's hoping the hip holds up....

What is roller skiing?

It is like cross country or skate skiing, but the skis have wheels so you can ski without snow.

Offthegrid - 2008-09-25 8:30 PM c'mon, folks, there's a lot more than just cattle prods and whips. heh. back to your regularly scheduled challenge.

You're right, we have tasers, too.

And we love our whips, cattle prods, and tasers!  Pain is pleasure, right?

I guess I should post my goal.  I'll stick with 60 miles.  Good round number.

That's right, we do!! Count me in for being whipped!! I'll come up with a goal soon.

10 sessions for me - walk/elliptical/water run

I threw my hat into the ring earlier but without my goals.  Hal Higdon says I should run 6 hours (well, I translated his miles to my minutes; I think time works better for my training than distance...).  This is in training for my first 10K... so let's call my goal 6 hours!  Hopefully Hal knows what he's talking about... and hopefully I picked the right one to listen to :P

UPDATE: I have finally put everyones names in a spreadsheet and we currently have 93 sign ups!

I have not worked out teams but will try and get the request right... as far as I can tell we mostly have requests to stay with some Melons or be whipped... (thats my take on it) I PROMISE to at leat keep you with a few other Melons/Whip.

Now I better do some more work so... teams will be up hopefully later tonight... (my time
