do you have to like cats to participate...??

I definitely need to start working some strength training into my training plan...!!!  Therefore...

My super hero power for April is….…Strength Training!!!

I was going to say 8... but i'm going to get aggressive and shoot for 10 strength/core training sessions in April...  my scrawny body needs it...

No but with SUPER CAT as the leader...I would HIGHLY suggest faking it!

waidaminute...............................

there's no 'faking it'  in this challenge

Dogs rule! Cats....um, drool.... Super Cat excepted, of course. I don't think she drools. (Although, I've never actually MET her, so....) (I can only imagine what team she'll put me on for this ^^^^.)

I just made some maths to start this wonderful Saturday and here is my super power for the month of April.

I will be running, for a total of 15 hours and a half. I am trying to get my running back to where it was before I hurt my right foot at the end of February. I hope everything will work as I planned since I have a half-mary on May 3rd.

Have a great day everyone.

Still wondering if I should join this challenge since, after the Mary next Sat., I'll be off training for about 3 weeks for rest, per Coach's recommendation, before the next session starts up for IM Moo.

So your SuperPower is to avoid getting carpal tunnel syndrome as you click the remote?

Count me in. I seem to be following my plan quite well for s/b/r, but I really need some push on the core stuff. I just can't get myself to do it. So "strenght training" (Specifically core) for me. Let's go with about 30 mins/week - or 240 mins for the month.

Just log walking to and from your car and whatnot. And just think of all the time you'll have for post padding motivational posting.

I have a super light month too, HIM recovering and slow build.

I'm in for my first ever. My super power is biking and making sure i am on it as far as my plan goes. Breaks down by time and not distance.

Month goal is 13hrs and 30mins.

Its really even over then month doing a little over 3 hours a week. It is just week one of my HIM plan so a little light but still fun to play.

blujay65 - 2009-03-14 9:49 PM Count me in... not sure if it will be swimming or running, but I will figure it out soon!

So I think I have narrowed it down to.... achieving a 9 mile run.

I had an injury earlier this year and had to skip my first HM. Bummer. But I am back on the road again and have registered for another in June, so this will be perfect timing. I had been concentrating a lot on swimming and do have a clinic coming up for the month of April, so I think I will be making good progress in that, just need to do more in running.
