Member 27 Coupeville, WA | Subject: RE: Running with Scissors Wow you all are an amazing group. Just read through the 5 pages of posts and am now ready to give my bio. I know silly me thinking I could wait a day to do this. I have my PhD in environmental engineering but am currently a stay at home mom (by choice)of my 2yo son. I completed my first sprint triathlon last year and am aiming to complete two more sprints and an Oly this year. Running is my worst discipline at the moment. I actually was MVP of my CC team all through high school and ran two years of CC during my undergrad years. Since then have let myself get away (yes that mean gained to much weight) and am now in the process of getting off the weight and back in shape. I love training for triathlons because you are training for so many different disciplines that you are never bored. I was definitely burned out on running from college CC!! I really enjoy challenges and this is my first in BT. I am starting pretty small compared to you all but wanted to test the waters before really plunging in. Will try to keep up with you all and add when I can. Cheers! |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Running with Scissors Hey everyone - quick posting to let you know I won't be around today and not sure when I will be back on line I'm flying to PA today and my new job starts tomorrow. I'm not sure what my access will be like and whether or not I'll get a laptop. I've asked for one, so I'm hopeful that I'll be back on line tomorrow sometime. Have a great day! |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Running with Scissors I've added a "Track your progress" box to all of the spreadsheets! You do NOT need to do anything. It will update automatically. (In other words, do not update it!) It takes "today's date" from the computer, and calculates the percentage of the month that has passed so far. This will help you see if you're on track towards hitting your goal. For example, today is Feb 3rd. So the month is 10% completed. All of this shows up in the "peach colored box" on your team spreadsheet. - Dee |

Master 1870 Fort Worth | Subject: RE: Running with Scissors Ok I'm the slow one logging back on. I did update my log before I checked in. I figure Julie and beth are lurking and ready to kick me in the butt for being so slow. Hey Julie I feel great, busy as hell, but great none-the-less. I still have that annoying little cough but it's minimal at best. I ran this morning since it's raining and plan on hitting the drainer during the Super Bowl game (multi-tasking). Ok two papers to write still, got to go. |

SOunds like everybody's doing some awesome running. I'll be joining that party next week. Happy Sunday! Pam |
