Oh................

and don't you love the people that 'reply all' when there is really no need????? ARGH!

OMG... another one of my communication pet peeves!!

Also, today I sent out an email to all of the instructors begging asking for subs for my classes tomorrow.  So I'm trying to check the computer often because I am obviously concerned about not having coverage.  Everytime I see someone's responded to my email I have a glimmer of hope.

Can anyone explain why people feel the need to respond to tell me they can't cover for me???  The email specifically states:  "please let me know if you can help"... nowhere does it say "please tell me what your plans for the day tomorrow are".

Thanks for the well wishes gang. Good thing we got our summers worth of chemicals a few weeks ago when he had them on sale!

Traffic sucks...yesterday morning there was an accident in south bound 95. I was headed north. All the damn rubber neckers had traffic at a near stand still! It took me 25 minutes to drive about a 10 mile stretch of road (from Chippenham parkway area to Maury St)

My bike is back, and she's pretty again. He taught me how to clean the chain and rear rings right so it won't get gunky again. He moved the computer to the aero bars and put on a small headlight too. I bought a summer cycling jersey and a reflective jacket that I'll wear for the early AM runs too.

Judi!

I'm glad everything is ok - how scary

woo hoo on the pretty bike and

south 95, is that the same south 95 I drive on every day when I come home from work (obviously further north....lol)

haha had one of those the other day to something I sent out - after watching a couple of emails bounce back and forth one of the guys obviously realised the 'discussion' was taking place in a very broad public arena with all the people on the To and CC lists

I still toy with the idea of becoming an instructor - especially after the disasters I've run into out here

to be honest, I was surprised

I would have thought that what we had in Omaha would have been........not sure what the word is

Looks like I missed the party. The margaritas look really good, too. *sigh* I am totally in the same mood (the pity party mood).

Well, good night. or should I say "good morning"? It is after midnight in some parts of the country, after all.

Very insightful, Cat!

I struggle with the opposite. I'm used to making decisions on my own. But my current boss gets rather upset when I do that. She puts the "micro" in "micro-managing." She wants us to run everything by her. And then she wants to run it all past HER boss.....

(You think I'm stressed out? I think she's even more so.)

One in the same...course you have to go around Baltimore and DC to get here...

I was up yesterday at 4:45 for swimming.  By the time I finished catching up on Nibbs/inspires after dinner it was 9PM.  I still had to fininsh laundy (needed to be folded) and make lunch.    I crawled in bed at 10PM and DH is SNORING to beat the band...needless to say I did not peel my keester out of bed for an early prework ride.  It's Rachel's B-day (14--yikes) so I doubt I'll get it in after work...Doing a lunch time run today, that bag is ready to go...

Yes I live in Mississippi, but NO I don't have a gun.  I can't help you stay away from the running shoes.  But why would you want to?  Running is fun, running is fun, running is fun.

I got in a little run this morning, too, and Wednesday means spin class after work.  Ahhh...  Even have a swim scheduled after that.  Do I need another hobby?

I know running is fun fun fun. That is my problem. I would run every day if my body didn't get mad at me for it. I'm a very bad rester.

You live in MS and don't own a gun? Aren't they going to take away your Southerner card? (Heck, I grew up with a pair of hippie parents who wouldn't let us play with toy guns, but my dad has a gun to shoot the muskrats & snakes in his pond...I figured it was a southern thing).

I was issued a permanent Southerner card the day I went frog gigging.  I have an open invitation to go catfish grappling, too, but my sissified fear of snakes always has me thinking that it may not be a catfish in that box.

My boss actually bought the finest buckshot he could find and he peppers all the geese that show up at his house.  Geese poop is an abundant commodity around here now.

Morning Nibbs!

It's going to be another long day for me I'm afraid - I'll try and pop in once in a while - I really need to try and get out of here by 6 tonight so I can go spin and maybe run...........

maybe run -

I'd always rather swim or bike than run, which means I need to run more - Maybe Bill and I should start a personal challenge - everytime he swims I'll run and vice versa

we'll either both never run or swim or we'll get a lot better at it
