I did 8x50 with 1 minute of rest between 50's. It was a little intimidating because I was in a lane between two other swimmers both of whom were pretty fast swimmers. They were doing 50 in the time it took me to do 25. I didn't let my head get caught up in it too much and just did my thing. Log question: When you enter swim drills or laps in your log, do you just enter the time you were actually swimming, or do you put the whole total and include the rest time as well? I'm not sure if it really matters, other than for calculating the 100's, but was just curious what others do. |

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams) I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team. I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know. If I'm doing interval sets I log xxxx distance @xxx time :xx rest in the details of the workout but if I'm in the water from 5:45-6:45 that's my hour swimming |

It's no yellow jersey, but I did manage a hilly ride on saturday as part of my Oly and took home a 3rd place in my division for the race. I've got another 90+ minutes (could someone please stall that sunset) penciled in for tonight and then I'll update the spreadsheet. The next two weeks are major build weeks for my volume, fear not... I'm going to be putting some numbers up. I too have never seen the pom pom pick! |
