When I saw that I was assigned to the "Team Post Padding", I wondered what the name meant.  I thought, hmmm, Post, meaning after??  Padding, meaning padding our bottom???

When I saw that there were already 6 pages of posts, I thought, oh no, it's going to take a lot of reading to keep up.

So, to get down to business, here are my goals for September:

Swim:  60 minutes

Bike:  180 minutes

Run:  180 minutes

Other 210 minutes

I'm going to be on vacation August 30th through September 7th.  I'll be lucky to get one workout in while I'm gone.  But, I'll try to get online a few times to check on everyone's post padding, I mean workout progress.

I'll also be gone September 19th through 21st.  I won't be able to workout then and I won't have access to a computer.

I suppose I'll eventually need to figure out how to put on a signature line so that when The Post Padding team wins, I can celebrate.  I'll have to get an avatar too.  I have a picture but I think it's too large to post.  Can anyone tell me how to shrink it?  BTW, I have a Mac, I don't know if that matters.

Or if you insist on using a Mac, open the picture in an editing program, find the picture attributes (usually will be one of the editting options), change the dimensions of the picture, and then save. This will usually cut it down enough to use as an avatar.

What!?!? You can never pass up a warm, fresh-baked cookie. It's a critical rule in life that the cookie must be eaten while still warm. I would have eaten it mid-ride! But then again, I once finished a coffee and an eggo while starting a trainer ride after running a 10K so I might have problems...

Slugger - 2008-08-27 7:35 PM BTW, I'm all about those cupcakes, too. I hate those damn little yippy dogs, so I'd love to squash and eat them. YUM! You know, Dee, the book specifically says, "ANYONE can make them". Maybe Team Can't Pad Posts Worth Anything will make these for us when we beat them soundly?

OR, maybe we'll make some of the tri ones for you all as a consolation prize.  Just to serve as reminders that you all spent too much time looking at our cupcakes instead if swimming, biking, and running.

I agree, not eating that cookie was a violation of life rule number six!

otter_sh - 2008-08-27 6:46 PM Do we log our hours into the spreadsheet daily or just weekly? I am making the assumption BT log is daily...

It is up to you.  You have to log the training daily into your BT log, but the minimum for the spreadsheet is weekly.  I'll let you know what day to log and give you some warning.  I also usually check the day logging is due to make sure everyone logged their stuff.

Since I have doubled my total post count, I will let you know the first biopsy came back benign. So only 1 more report to come....

Go Team...

Exercise is no longer an option, it has to be a way of life.

Yeah!  That's so awesome!!

Nope.  I use a Mac.  I often use an online free site called Picnik to resize my pictures and then save them.  Try that out and see if it works for you.

I apologize for being kind of out of contact. I'm on vacation until Tuesday.  I have net access, but not as much as normal.  I want to make a team table, but probably won't be able to until I get back next week.  Hope that's ok with everyone.
