It was great!  Weather held up and it was just overcast and cool (nice).  Saw Kristen at the beginning but she took off at the start and I never saw her again.  Ran the whole race with Dan (also in VA forum)  he pulled me by the hand for the last couple miles cause I was hurting.

Agreed. The weather was awesome. I had a great race, but I'm dying now. I'm also a little bummed that there's no official results (yet) because of the weather? I ran somewhere between 2:05 and 2:06, cracked off 9:30-ish miles through the course. Then I ran into a terrible accident at 64/95/195 and sat in my car crying for 15 minutes. I just wanted to get home. Then I recovered and stopped at Chic-fil-a for a shake and fries. Came home. Pretended to help Sugar Daddy rake leaves. Got cleaned up. Now I'm headed for the couch where I will unlikely move the rest of the day!

Great job, Kristen and Judi!

I'm glad y'all had good weather.  I had to run in the cold and rain.  But I ran the fastest I've ever run and smashed my time goal!  It absolutely made up for the weather!

Time to get cleaned up and head out for a haircut.  I can't wait to get rid of this pile of hair on my head!

Great job, Kristen and Judi!!  I was a little worried that it was going to be too hot or humid from all the rain last night.  Glad it worked out well

I'm hurting.  Ice bath helped some, but now I have no ice for my water.

No official results, I used Dan's Garmin results.

I keep hoping they'll post something. I have my HRM data, but I accidentally stopped it for 5-10 seconds when I was trying to hit the lap button at mile 8, so I'd rather have the real number. I'm hurting too...but the beer is helping. Yes, the wino is drinking beer.

Just a generalized achey feeling.  Not horrible.  Official time read as 2:18.17.  Ehh, I'll take it.

I just read your RR - great job on both the race and the report!

I think you should feel really good about your time - given the obstacles that you were dealing with!

next year you'll be injury free and smash the time!
