Artemis - 2008-12-13 6:35 AM I should stop sitting around in my PJs and get ready to do things today. I want to get to the farmer's market early this time. Usually I get there too late and miss some of the things I want.

Our farmer's market has turned into such a madhouse on the weekends.

This is an indoor one since it's a little too cold to go on the weekends.  It was a little crowded but not too bad.  It's kind of a drive, though.  I think I'm going to join the coop and be able to pick up from a place closer to home.

barqhead - 2008-12-13 11:41 AM Hi Nibbs! I finished the 5K. No PR, but I did get second in my age group. You gotta LOVE small races And I know there were at least 3 in my age group cuz they gave out 3 awards. I didn't warm up at all and had the kiddos with me. So I feel pretty good about it. I ran it in 23:40, I think. I forgot to stop my Garmin. I'll double check that once the times are online. I know it was under 24 minutes anyhow. Now it's coffee and shower time

Nice job, Pam!  Congrats on the hardware!!

I'm off to have lunch.  Then, I have an appointment to get my wrist tattoo touched up and I think we're going to do some shopping after.  Have to find gifts for the people my husband manages.

After about an hour and a half my Quads, Hamstrings and Heart are all fine to keep going BUT my neck, hands, Shoulders are in SO much pain I cant keep going...

Guess Im begging my boss for a long lunch this week to get a fit Well after Ive talked to the bike shop of course!

Hi, Nibbs!

Congrats on the hardware, Pam!

Join the co-op already, Jen! (Although the winter veggie choices are pretty slim - mostly I'm buying apples, sweet potatoes, pasta from Cavannah, and meat.)

Hello everyone!

Today I had an awesome day - although it had nothing to do with training.

We took the monkeys to the circus! It was a hoot and there was a pre-show where the girls could go down on the floor - so they took a turn on a trapeze and got to sit right on the ring and watch things. The circus itself was also really good. Then, since we were halfway across the state, we went to a few of the wineries that had nice sit-down tastings. Mmmm. And then tonight we had Christmas with my dad.

Happy Day!

(Yes, I know I need to train again - but I really needed one of these days too.)

Hey all-

I feel crappy, but had a lovely day regardless.  I hiked in a snow blanketed mountain with Maneesh and Dave, which included the brief exploration of a deep dark crevice near the top of the mountain.

I also gave a little confused tree frog a lecture about sitting in the snow in the middle of a mountain trail that dogs frequent.  The silly bright green guy was just hanging out in a blanket of white.  I also escorted him down the mountain a little ways to where there was plenty of decomposing logs, ferns, salal, and moss.

After the hike, we visited a local Irish pub.  You can check my log for a few more details.

I'm grumpy.  Andy ordered two pairs of shoes from REI.  Our address is on X Road.  There is the exact same address at X Court.  For some reason, online computer systems keep changing the address to Court.  I caught it right away on something I ordered last week, but didn't catch it on this one.  They are going to try to get it re-routed, but they aren't sure that they can do it.  I'm SO annoyed.  I really want the shoes before I leave for home on Saturday.

I can't sleep (owing to have slept all day) so I'm screwing around on the 'Net, at my favorite screw-around place (Nibbs, and BT).

Wait, that doesn't sound right.
