I didn't stick to the plan today. I bagged my swim, but am replacing it with tomorrow's bike and the swim will happen tomorrow instead. I just couldn't make it happen today. Oh well.

I know we can do better. There are still two weeks for everyone to get back to their plans.

---===---

I did a ride this morning, a hilly sufferfest of my own design and choosing; it was cold, it was windy...wow that was fun! Maybe I can learn to love hills!

The upside of hill climbing is that there's usually a downside, a screaming decent; even though the wind and cold was making my eyes tear the speed is fun.

I love the speed too, I have been having trouble getting to 35mph, finally did last weekend in my race!

Got the bike workout done, another 42 minutes. I may have miscalculated my bike hours for the month and may need to increase them a bit. I'll wait until this week's workouts are done to decide because next week is my rest week for the month.

Tomorrow I'll swim and run so I'm technically still on track!

I was going to swim this morning, but am tired from yesterdays workout.  I have a 30 min bike ride planned for this evening.  We will see what happens.

After yesterday's hard bike ride I figured I'd rest my legs by swimming today instead of running. I guess I was tired for swimming, too. It felt like they had the "slow water" in the pool today ;) 2100m done anyway.

I had a race dream last night, does that count as training?

No, it was one of those stressful dreams... I think I missed my start or something like that.

Going for a run, doing the hills today.

Another 2500y swimming done, plus some short running mileage. I had my first speed workout today and it was really fun! It doesn't take long but I felt like I really worked hard. I'm planning core later since I didn't have time yesterday and my coach cut my strength training (again) later this week. If he keeps cutting it I'll have a hard time making my goal because I based it on my initial schedule for the month.

Can I change my goal?  It has rained here more or less nonstop all month.  I don't have or use a trainer and only get my bike miles in by actually riding outside.  I signed up for 150 miles biking and there is no way I can get in that many.  Can I change it to 50 miles, which is still a stretch?

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around. I've been sick the last week, but am feeling a bit better now. I've been trying to get as much training in as I possibly can, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to reach my goals this month. I'll do my best to get as close as possible though. Hopefully, there won't be anymore setbacks. I have an 80' run and 60' bike on tap today. Wish me luck!

Happy training!!!

Hey team. Sorry I have been MIA, I have been sick. I am finally getting back into it, but I have also had a sick kiddo at home, so getting to the gym has been more difficult this week. Are we doing an adjustment for illness/injury this month? I know in some past months there was a way to reduce goals based on how many days you were sick/injured.

It has been awfully quiet around here, I hope it is because everyone is out exercising!

I got a run and swim in today, I know I am going to be close to making my goals but definitely not over. Working night shift and a sick kid got in the way.

Hey guys. I got in a long workout yesterday, 2 hours on the bike and a little less than 30 minutes running. I have a swim later today!

I also increased my bike goal since I exceeded it yesterday. I knew I had miscalculated it.

Good morning,

I got in a long swim amid distractions. I think I need one more longer swim to get back on my swimming goal pace. I'm on target with my running but I really underestimated how much biking I'd get in.
