Good morning Crypts!

I've updated the roster to include our new recruits, Mila and LastCall, and am including it as a text attachment. It has a lovely background of skulls and bones that you may not be able to see right now because the image is parked with Comcast  and Comcast can't keep its act together. Eventually it will come back. I hope everyone is out getting their run on!

30 min run in Z2 (HR avg 143 bpm).  It was on the treadmill.  No one was chasing me, like in my dreams...

As I mentioned in my previous post, my name is Mila and I like inflicting gut wrenching pain on grown men like Sal and subsequently collecting a paycheck for the fine contributions I make.  I use the proceeds from this to add to my collection of whips, tasers, cattle prods and other devices of torture used for challenge team members who start to slack off .

A goal worthy to strive towards! O captain my captain!

Umm sure... what would you rather swim in? Coke? Candy Floss? Pea soup?

I swim in pea soup most days although it is usually syrup.

You should come back to Georgia then.  The only problem with that whole dream scenario is that you can outrun the me.  Therefore I call I get to ride my pretty bike while you run. TIA.

OK, I must leave my office now and "run".  Decisions, decisions... aquajog... slog... trudge... Techno-Gym...

MDHillSlug - 2009-10-02 8:52 AM Hi Mila! When ya coming up to Olney?

Not sure!  I was supposed to be there in June but the trip got postponed.  Likely soon as I have something to pick up that will require me to drive it back home .

Alrighty then, since it's possible that I have yet to offend not met some of you, I suppose I will introduce myself.

I reside under my tiara in Hotlanta and enjoy all kinds of princessy things (frog kissing, poison apple eating, glass slipper shopping, etc.).  When not ruling my kingdom, I have an amazing job in the fitness industry that, in part, involves overseeing endurance programming in the Atlanta market.  Do what you love, love what you do!

I got into triathlon to prove a point with regard to a certain incurable and unpredictable medical condition with which I deal that makes training a wee bit more challenging than it might otherwise be.  It is teh suxxor but you will learn quickly that I don't ever let it define me and I keep on trudging along... which is actually how we can define the running I will be doing for this challenge.  I like "trudge"... it has a lovely ring to it.

I'll look at my schedule and figure out a goal.

hmmmm

how to follow an intro like that????

Well, I should hope not cause if they are askeered already they will be running for the hills once we really get down to business.  On the other hand, it is a run challenge so that could work to our benefit...
