I got a nice little treadmill run today.  I was going to push my baby in the running stroller but it looked like it was going to rain.  It never did.  The weather is so weird for this time of year here.  It is 63 degrees!  It barely reaches that temp during the summer here!



I think everywhere is odd weather this winter! Good job getting it done.

Yeah, I hear ya.  brrr.  I see you are in Denver - I live in Castle Rock and work in Aurora.  Very windy when I walk into work!

My swim last night was thwarted!  A bit irritated that not even a single lane was available for swimming.  All evening!  I'm really not up to waking up at 4:30 to hit the pool before work... going to have to adjust I suppose. 

I'm really going to try to get on the trainer tonight, but it depends on how sore my kankle is after PT this morning.  That with the cold and all the walking I do at work leaves me very sore at the end of the day.

Managed a 5k yesterday evening, then topped it off with pizza and beer for my brother's b-day. 

Alas, was down another .5lb this morning

Hoping for a snow day tomorrow.  Supposed to get sleet covered with a few inches of snow tonight.  Hope to run before the lovliness starts falling from the sky.

Well, our weather is a good bit warmer.  We are in the 40s and raining.  However, today is supposed to be a little drier before the temp dips tomorrow.  So I am planning on a bike ride after work, if I get off on time to get it in before dark.

Well yesterday got a swim, bike, run and core in...I'm a bit tired today...

My workout had this ridiculous kick set...lol...lets just say I had to do 100's (m) kick on 145...free kick...quads BURNING...and my foot was threatening to cramp after tooo...

Swim again tonight...apparently we are doing a 4400m workout tonight...bring on the aerobic freestyle...lets go! lets go! and I need to get a 20min run in too...and core...

I'm a late joinee to the team - just returned from vacation on Sunday, and had spent December prior to vacation sick sick sick with a sinus infection.  The new year seems to be treating me alright with a couple short workouts and so I've pencilled a sprint tri for Feb 28!!  I'll review my training plan (hopefully later today) and then put my goals in for the month.  I'm slow after a month off, but also feel some of the base strength still there.

I'm a SAHM mom of two little ones who turn 5&3 this month - can I put their birthday party as a goal?!  I don't have anything planned yet!!  Happy New Year!

I got a swim done yesterday.  It's not one of my goals for the challenge, though.  The water was really friggin cold!  The heater is broken at the pool.  On a good note, I had the pool all to myself!   I had to jump in the hot tub after my swim just to warm back up!

Hello team! Had a great day yesterday and today! Spin class kicked my butt yesterday but the pool was better today than Monday! Had great water and yoga classes also! tomorrow is a slow work day so will get a trainer ride and run in. Have a great night team!

Workout ended up only being 4000m...of death...pace times that I haven't done in 4 yrs...it was nausea and calf cramp central...oh man...haha...there was lots of talking to myself during our main set..."You need to just go...you need to just focus on "Baby got back"-->this is how I focus my mind away from the pain...I sing random songs...in my head...Today was Baby got back...yesterday was Rasputin...

ya i know...wierd...haha

Also did a short run as per my training schedule and added in a 30min spin with high cadence and core work and stretching...

I'm tired again... :S...but I totally napped at school...I don't care if people think I'm wierd...there are couches in the med lounge for a reason...
