Hi Tan.....great lunch meeting with some really interesting conversation.  Hot monkey sex and banging like gerbils was brought up more then once.

That depends do you do a lot of road trips, or are you moving to somewhere new? 

Ultimately I like electronic toys so who cares if it's necessary, it's fun.  that being said I haven't used mine for over  2 years. I bought it when I moved here 3 years ago.

How come I don't get to have luch conversations like that????

Oh yeah I don't take a lunch.

well, i do use the my google maps on my Iphone ALOT.....he says a tom tom is safer than looking at my Iphone while driving......i guess thats a good point.........especially if I move to another town, like Chicago where I believe being on the phone while driving is illegal.....

well, i'll be moving hopefully when I secure a job.........which could be anyday to never...........ugh, so frustrating!

I personally don't have one.  I borrowed my Dad's when I moved here to Montreal last year, but after about a week, I no longer needed it.  I don't think that I will ever use one regularly, because I think that people become too dependent on it.  With things like google maps and what have you, you should be able to find your way.  If you don't know where you are going, following it blindly, and it breaks, you are in trouble.  This is why I don't really want to use one.

That being said, I have also followed a GPS blindly from Toronto to Florida, and we accidentally took the shortest route, not the most highways, so we were going through smaller towns and the like.  It definitely brought us door to door, but we could have been in pretty big trouble...

You can start having conversations like that at lunch-time...  You can do it here at BT.  I think we should call it.....  TAN!

but I can't find a full time faculty job....everything is adjunct/part-time
any good technical colleges near or good school districts, I may have to resort to teaching high school English

Just finished 5 hours with junior golfers + 1 hour private golf lesson in 98*F and Dew Point of 75.  I am poached.

Yes!!!! Leaving work early.   I may go take a nap. 

Well, I take my lunch at my desk/while "working", so we can have more of the conversation that people feel they have to leave us alone for extended periods of time, like today. 

Still have not heard from tonight's date. Really!?
It's 2:30 p.m. and Friday night weddings are usually what... 6:00 or so?

Tried to take a nap.  Apparently, I'm tired, but not that tired.  Daytime TV is kind of boring.

Am I the only one that finds it strange that, for a first, semi-blind date, he invited you to a wedding?  Especially one where you won't know anyone else?
