So, I've had a funny night. My daughter has never had a friend phone for HER before. I mean, their moms have called me and whatnot... but tonight during dinner one of her friends called her. At first it was funny watching her try to navigate the art of a conversation with another 6 year old over the phone...

Apparently my daughter and 4 of her girl friends and making a Halloween movie at our house on Sunday? Her friend was calling to say what time she would be over. Do mothers no longer check with other parents? Parents they have never met before?

Yeah... we had a chat and I think she understands that it's fine to have friends over but she needs to ask first... but she cracks me up. She was not this social last year in Kindergarten!
