I hurt my leg shopping yesterday. Yes, shopping. Pulled or strained my hamstring. No run yesterday and we will have to see how it feels later today. How embarrassing!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been MIA.

The new job is going well. The people are friendly and helpful, my boss is helping me get everything signed/filed/approved so I can get my accounts and start doing stuff. He keeps asking what he can do to help me, or if there is anything I need. It is a totally different environment. I LIKE IT!

Hey everyone. I am hoping for a run today before the Mardi Gras party. It will be on the treadmill because it is cold and windy and I am a wuss. PLUS if my leg gives out I will be at home rather than up the road somewhere.

Man! It has been windy here too. All things considered I have slept right through it for the most part.

We didn't get much in the way of snow with this storm. Which is ok, hopefully the hubby won't be quite as gung-ho to drag me out to the ski resorts tomorrow. I've been down with a cold the last couple weeks, and I finally gave in and went to the doctor today. I have an ear infection and a mild sinus infection. Hopefully the antibiotics do their job quickly. I'm sick of feeling so run down!

We had a WONDERFUL Mardi Gras party last night. Lots of food, friends, music, beads, masks and adult beverages.

Probably 50 or 60 people showed up. Today's workout was cleaning up the mess.

Off to do chores in town and maybe get a swim in.

About Key West.

I'll be happy to go about the renting of a place if I know who is in and how long they want to stay. I know the DH and I will do at least a week. The race is on Jan 20th. Let me know and I'll start figuring cost out.

As to Key West, I'll know more how much time we will have by the time March is over. Hubby is hoping to switch jobs, and then we were talking about riding the motorcycle down to Key West. So we have some planning to do. Either way I do want to spend some extra time down there.

Darn, I was in Hartwell up until 4:30pm. I should have gone north to the party instead of home. Glad to hear it was a great party.
