Member 33 Alpharetta, GA | Subject: Introduce yourself: Georgians Name: Steve Age: 31 City\Town: Alpharetta, GA Favorite Training Places: Webb Bridge Park, From my driveway, Silver Comet Trail (If I have to) Triathlons Completed: IMFL 06, IMCDA 07, Rock & Roll Half 06, SC Half 06, 2 Olympics, several sprints Current Goals: To get myself motivated again I'm not really new, but I kind of feel new since I haven't really done much for nearly a year (since IMCDA last year). Mr. ADollar is nagging me to get back out there, along with several of my cycling buddies, so I guess now is as good a time as any. |

The bike is all ready to go...I'm planning two hours from my driveway on Sat morning! Plus, I'm planning on riding to work a couple of days a week now (especially with gas at "Way too much" a gallon! Edited by gibbyuf 2008-04-17 8:12 AM |

Name: Andi Age: 38 Hometown: San Diego, CA City\Town: Alpharetta, GA (Georgia for over 1/2 my life) Favorite Training Places: Columns, three gap, stone mountain, silver comet, on my trainer... and am joining Swim Atlanta Masters so I can swim in the 50M pool to prep for Alcatraz Triathlons Completed: Everything from sprint to ironman (Many races) Current Goals: Plan to "race" at Jekyll Island Turtle Crawl (olympic) in May and Escape From Alcatraz in June. Getting back into tri's after being out of it for 4 seasons due to work, injury, burn out, etc. Lose the 15ish pounds gained due to work, injury, burn out, etc! Most of all, have FUN. |

You might want to avail yourself to the training logs here. It is a great tool to stay in touch with other's training as well as they with yours. I usually ride Saturday mornings. Since I just got my zones redone and I am in base building mode, I have been riding the Silver Comet at the crack of stupid ... would love the company if you are interested in a 16-17 mph slog.
