Current Goals: To get myself motivated again

I'm not really new, but I kind of feel new since I haven't really done much for nearly a year (since IMCDA last year). Mr. ADollar is nagging me to get back out there, along with several of my cycling buddies, so I guess now is as good a time as any.

The bike is all ready to go...I'm planning two hours from my driveway on Sat morning! Plus, I'm planning on riding to work a couple of days a week now (especially with gas at "Way too much" a gallon!

Man, those trailers are expensive! And besides, I don't think he wants me blowing snot rockets back in his direction during our rides! Nor would his mom want me sneaking up to the Gaps with him in tow!

Anditrigirl - 2008-04-19 7:05 PM Hello!! Anyone else from Georgia doing the Escape From Alcatraz in June??

Hi Andi, as Mila mentioned I am also doing Alcratraz ... I would not go so far as to say that I am "racing" it though as I just restarted my training two weeks ago.

You might want to avail yourself to the training logs here.  It is a great tool to stay in touch with other's training as well as they with yours.

I usually ride Saturday mornings. Since I just got my zones redone and I am in base building mode, I have been riding the Silver Comet at the crack of stupid ... would love the company if you are interested in a 16-17 mph slog.

BTW, Adamsville Nat has a 50 meter pool w/no one in it. But I realize now by looking at your address that's pretty far for you..

Generally speaking, at the crack of dawn ... usually wheels rolling between 7:00-7:15 am (but then gets earlier as the season progresses).

I will not be out this weekend (Cub Scout camping trip) but will the following weekend if you are interested.
