Especially once people have a few drinks in them. The SPam? Not so much. Yes, the shoes are ridiculously hot and were a huge splurge but the boy toy didn't seem to care. Huh. Go figure .

It was just one of those days, so instead of the 17 miles, I put in 13. It just could not get in the rhythm today, for whatever reason. I was well fed from last nite and the am, nothing out of the ordinary . . I did go to sleep later then I would have liked . . 11pm instead of 9:30, but, I have done those before. I think it was much hotter today that it has been, since I was already done with a 7oz FB flask @ mile 3 when I usually can get to 6 . . . so I am guessing the heat / humidity had a negative impact. Overall though, the 13 miles was a good run, I will call it a light week run and move on to the longer runs over the next few weeks. How was everybody else's workouts today? Corey |

You're a brave man, Sal. I can't fathom running in sub zero weather. It's in the 20's here (before wind chill) and I can barely stand to go from store to car to store again. Then again, I've been quite the slacker this month. I also have to chew out my DH for calling at midnight or later every night, especially when I have to drag 2 kids all over the valley in the morning. |

I also strongly believe that you need to listen to your body so good on ya for doing that today even if it meant cutting your planned run down a little. |

let's take a tour, shall we? the trophy is the first ever trophy i got. 3rd place ag for 11-12 boys swimming, waterloo iowa. those were the days. the mug is full of loose change, have to take that into the bank. the battery is actually a flashlight, you can see the two bulbs on top. remarkable light from something so light. the elephant (basheba) is standing on an instrumental analysis book. the hawkeye statue and brown thing are things from when i was a little noz. the brown thing is a stuffed monkey i had since i was .5 years old. and the thing on the back right is a small star wars helmet. others, some pipe cleaners, a picture at a football game, and a bible. thanks for playing the noz picture hunt! |
