any official results on this week challenge??

or it is too soon, waiting on those west coast and far flung folks

i hope we win.

still a sore loser.

Not until tomorrow.

It's nice to be ahead during the weeks, but the one that we have to worry about is the end of the month.

x2. We were ahead the last time I checked, around Thursday.... but we don't want to fizzle out!

Okay... okay... okay....  what if I do ten minutes of ab work on the resistaball... then I don't have to vacuum

I hear you though. Some days, it's just tough to get that peach! I just spent 5+ hours driving (with no break), and I can't see straight.... but after I unpack tonight, I plan on getting at least ten minutes of "some kind of activity" done. (Not sure yet what it'll be, but it'll be something....)

You could have done isometric contractions the whole way... or just keigels (sp?)

Is there a record number of pages for a thread?!!!

I'm thinking I need a bike trainer...what kind of trainer do each of you have, and what do you like or dislike about it? And where should I buy it? Thanks!

Well, there's a record number of posts for a challenge team. Nibbs (They Who Shall Not Be Named) from November 2007. There were 10,799 posts during a single month....

Here's a summary of our posting that month:

Since I'm sure you're wondering:
Twisnibbins I - 3495 posts
Twisnibbins II - 1633 posts
Twisnibbins III - 1499 posts
Twisnibbins IV - 1590 posts
Twisnibbins V - 1488 posts
Twisnibbins VI - 1050 posts (so far)
Twisnibbins Chronicles - 44 posts
---------------------------------------
Total: 10,799 posts (so far)

At approximately 3 inches each: 32,397 inches total
Divided by 12 in/foot: 2,699.8 feet total

Divided by 5280 ft/mile: 0.51 miles
0.51 miles = 0.81 kilometers

I have a Tacx Fortius, it's like a computrainer but from tacx. I do like it really much and it helps me ride 3 times a week all winter to have Real Video. The trainer simulate the hills and all, so you can go for a 30 km hilly ride, or a flat one, etc etc. The only downside is that it is expensive though, but it all depends what you are looking for.

Happy Monday peachy friends! I think I smell spring in the air (at least, in MS), so should be easy to get all those peaches. My new favorite color!

I eaked out an ab/core/upper body strength workout last night.  Somehow I managed to do it in an altered state of mind after taking some nyquil.  I didn't really remember I did it this morning until I saw my pullup bar still out in the office

But I got my peach!!!!!

I don't think Peep Show will make it but they are sure making a run for it.

It is another rainy day.  I'm glad for the rain because GA is still in a drought.  This is going to be a really tough year.

will have to ride the trainer tonight.  Am planning a long bike ride on Sunday.  Hoping to get about 50 miles in.

I have a CycleOps Fluid2.

Pros: quiet, holding up well (2 people using it regularly for a year)

Cons: sometimes hard to get your bike clipped in

I got a package on eBay with the trainer, mat, riser, and a few other things for the cost of the trainer from Performance or somewhere else.  Well worth it.

The first TAN thread went 127 pages if I remember correctly.  And that was back in the day of 25 or 30 posts per page.
