Okay

I got home an hour and a half ago after a quick visit to the pharmacy/grocery store. I put away the groceries, helped my mom on the computer, set out my stuff for tomorrow, tried a little coconut sorbet(oh my goodness, it's amazing), and tucked myself into bed. I am making a quick tour of BT to end my day on an especially good note. It is so much fun to chat a bit-and see how people responded to my posts.

After I got done LMAO, I tried to correct her....

Now she's singing

I give up. I kinda like the Vermin Version.

I'm a bit tired. I am headed out to do a nursery visit. Later this evening I need to visit another nursery also.

We need to visit 5 nurseries during the quarter for my plant ID class-I've done 2.5

Ugh. I caught my daughter in a lie this afternoon. One that she still won't fess up to. But no one else had access to my computer today. And no one else has access to the email account that she and I share. unless she only checked the email while I was gone earlier (which she has no reason to lie about) AND one of the construction guys somehow logged onto our network and surfed a bunch of adult-related websites, or she is lying to me... for a not-so-good reason. While I don't want her to go to those kinds of sources if she's curious, I sure don't like it. But I expect honesty from my kids. She should know that by now.

What should I do? Ground her?

The lying is really not good. Did you confront her about it with the understanding that you think she did it? That's what my mom used to do when she thought we were lying to her.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good idea for punishment. You could try to ban her from the computer, but she might just as easily use someone else's computer.
