PennState - 2010-03-20 3:24 PM btw Cuse, I seriously debated getting HED3's... the only reason I went with Zipp 404 clinchers was that they were on a great deal.

I remember reading that a HED3 in front with a disc in back was one of the fastest setups you could have.

yeah....I was going to get a disc this year...still may.  I'm thinking of selling the H3 rear and getting a disc...lets see...drop...let me go measure...

took a level from tip of saddle, it was 6.5 cm to middle of arm pad....why do you ask?

does it look wrong?  I know nothing on fit at all....my big is too big for me, that I know...I need a 54 or 56, this is a 58....

...I would agree with that.  I tried to get it more aggressive, but just couldnt get comfy.  I think it is too big and with a smaller bike I could get more aggressive...does that make sense?

thanks for the fast comment....Smile

Here's my ride. It looks fast; too bad the engine isn't stronger.

No, THIS is aggressive. Great looking set, my man.

Just as an editorial, aggressive or steep is not always better, it all depends on how much power you can put into the cranks with the least amount of effort cost, and how well you can run off of that position. I ride a relatively slack angle vs. others, but my bike/run split doesn't suffer. POWER is what matters. I'm 5'10" tall and here is how I ride.

Mcluvin22 - 2010-03-19 11:24 PM 127 Days and Counting!!!!!

Ok, I just had a freak out moment, similar to DC's previous moments. lol

Huh?  I had freak out moments?  WOW... they must've been real bad cause I don't even remember them.  Perhaps I should skim back a few dozen pages and see what happened.  On second thought . . .

Cuse: I'm gonna bet 20 bucks you have a carbon ride come this time next year, although your current ride is very schweet.

Fred:  Why not go Wellington all the way and drop the disc this year?

James: Very Stealth, Brother.  You're gonna fly right under the radar and grab a Kona spot!!

Bryan:  God Bless Sponsorship!  That bike is sick!!

Charlie:  The gold decals make the bling factor on that ride an 11/10.

^^^LOL!!!!! Great looking ride, James. What are you putting into that Profile aero bottle? I ask because it's a one and done kind of bottle for an IM as the bottle holder is specific to the shape.

I'm putting a concentrated Carbo-pro mix, a' la Doucette

Supposedly the water bottle also makes the frame more aero.

Serious question for debate... I am thinking about using the 404s without the disc cover this year.
Why??? weight savings.
Why not??? aero benefit.

Hey we have to debate stuff... can't let the COJ forum beat us (they are 'debating' healthcare right now )

I've been told that Aero always Trumps weight, unless you are in the Alps.
