i just don't know how to be polite when we go visit this afternoon so i'm telling everyone who doesn't know them so i can get it out of my system and hopefully i can behave myself.

Congrats!! How 'bout "Dorie", for short?? Just keep swimming.
As long it's not "Dora" and be picked on for explorin'.

Phil - Race wheels.... Doooo eeeeeett!!

p.s.  I have no clue why your post on that showed up in my news feed, but holy smokes, those are some good deals!   TBT hadn't actually launched their wheel rentals the last time I looked at them.  It's nice to see that they are really doing it affordably.

I'm actually thinking about the used wheel purchases for the future.  Getting a Zipp 900 disc for cheaps would be awesome.

I did the rentals in '09, but I may have a free use offer from a fellow member. I may take them up on it!

I'm thinking of renting some for B2B...  but to go with the 404s or the 808s???

Depends on crosswinds - the 808s will throw you around like crazy.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  I bought them after all.

The $90 tie reminded me of this other dumb-arse purchase I need to take responsibility for.

So you have 2 sets - one for the front 9, and the new set for the back 9.

That's close to what the salesman said...  He actually said I had an extra set to loan to a friend...  But you have to see my clubs built for me.

It would be like Tony using my TT bike or me trying to fit in a clown car...  A slight size issue.

This mind visual is kind of funny.

Regarding your last sentence, I'm sure TANners are thinking "That's what SHE said!".

This is an anthem for
The girl that got away
This is an anthem for
The world of yesterday
This is an anthem for
All the rebel of my youth
This is an anthem for
The risk of loving you.

I'm in the mood to go clubbing for some reason.  That or go home and break the FIL's eardroms with some Tiesto or AVB or Oakenfold or something...  Some classic techno/trance...

Maybe it's the empty stomach and 20oz of coffee talking?

I think everyone gets anxiety.  However, when I do, it's obviously manageable, but at those moments I can see if it was much worse how terrible that must feel.

If it's as debilitating as was portrayed on Ironman 3 (I know not a serious drama/reality) it must be scary.

i know the day and hour it started.  it was triggered by (emotional) trauma and i'm just ready for it to go away.

That's interesting you know the moment.

I know THIS may sound crazy, but there have been a few moments I can just feel "I'm about to crack".  You sort of feel it happening and maybe it's far from really happening, but it almost seems tangible.

I'm curious on the over/under on how many times in life a person burns their mouth on pizza or soup, or those hot pocket things with molten lava in them BEFORE they learn not to do that anymore.

I'm dealing with 2nd degree NE clam chowder burns at the moment.  But it was SO good.

That can take a lifetime.   On the upside, you can also just realize one day that it just doesn't bother you any longer.

There were some moments during my divorce I semi lost it.  Like when I stabbed our wedding photo with a kitchen knife when she didn't come home one night AGAIN.  Left it on the front porch for dramatic effect.

I'm not sure if that was crazy or just being young.  I had no real desire to hurt her, but the image felt dramatic enough, no?  So much symbolism in a stabbed photo... Or just plumb crazy?
