My buddy just graduated as a Physician's Assistant. He has $1500 worth of school loans until...forever.

So he's looking at $50k starter houses that need some fixing, and he's finding a lot of them that could be nice with a little TLC.

If you could stand to do it, that'd be the way to go. That way he can get back on his feet until he starts making good money.

15 hundred or 15 grand..   1500 isnt' that much for a coming out a PA,, I was in that program years ago, considering what his speciality is they are usually starting around six figures for most areas in the country ,,, that's not a bad trade off

heh... swap one set of kids out with another... and the parents' opinion won't mean anything either... each kid is an individual... what works for one won't for another...

I've never told anyone how to raise their kids. Just interjected my personal opinion (when asked on a public forum) and like Ryan said, common sense. I never expect it to work across the board for everyone.

If people want parenting advice, they should probably go to a parenting forum.

Kids are all wretched sinners, like big people are.  To assume they are good is insane.  You never TEACH a kid to be naughty, they just DO that.  You TEACH them to be GOOD.

If I was a believer, and so what I was spoon-fed to believe, isn't that what GOD intended already?????
