Need help with the black widow on Level 3 in Vegas. If anyone can.

I might have found the solution to the money problem in Bangkok.  I'm sort of upset I didn't figure it out earlier (or maybe the timing is perfect, since I had Vegas to do).

ANYWAY, I studied each tier in Bangkok and realized they use specific weapons/armor/vehicles, ONLY for that tier.  They are not used again in future tiers...

SO, I went on a huge selling spree and sold much of my previous stock.  They didn't have much attack/defense value, so I wasn't hurt there and was able to get about 6 million baht to buy the items I needed to finish it up (still working on it, of course).

I HOPE, this doesn't come back to haunt me, but I think my strategy is sound.

Someone actually posted that awhile back...The only thing I did not completely sell off is whatever I need to loot satellite phones...because I always need stupid satellite phones!  I don't think you need them in the last chapter though, so at that point I'll sell those items.

I am working Level 4 on 5B, working Level 3 on 6 and 7.  Out of satellite phones and hoping to do as much as possible while waiting for some to be gifted or drop in mystery bags and whatnot.

If I had hindsight....  I would have only don't the first tier in Bangkok 3 (the satellite level).  Because they were easy (energy wise) to get on the first level...  but no, I finished them pretty much in order so I have to pay the tier 4 cost to get them which is almost 100 energy....  I think they were something like 20 energy for the first star tier...

Honestly, I sort of "cheat".  My wife has a character which I play...  That's my "supplier"...  Whenever I need stuff, I make that character do the jobs and send them to my character.  That way, I don't waste energy doing repeat jobs just to acquire items.

Does anybody know how many Sat. phones you need in Bangkok? I might just do that job over and over until I have the phones I need at the cheaper level.

Seriously, if it's not that, it's close to that...  There are easily a half dozen jobs that need one each time and only give you 1-2% complete.

Re: Number of satellite phones.  Do a search in the Zynga forums...someone out there has figured it out.

I second not completing the third tier until you've gotten all the satellite phones you will need.  They are cheaper on the lower levels.  But, you might just want to get as far as you can with whatever phones you have...then go as far as you can before you NEED more phones...because sometimes you get gifted phones or get them in mystery bags.  If you need 1000 phones and get them all then it takes you 2 months to get through all the jobs and in that time you get another 100 phones as gifts or whatnot then you wasted 100 phones worth of energy.  Make sense?

Finally...I just picked up an extra Irish Flag.  I seem to recall that being the difficult one of the Irish collection to get...if someone needs it let me know!

OK, I'm going to need a ton of those sat phones, I just ran out & I've got a lot of Bangkok left to do.  I put it in my wishlist, so anyone that's done & feels like sending them my way I'd greatly appreciate it.

Is anyone else having trouble lately (i.e. the last week) with Mafia Wars suddenly causing their computer to run slowly?

I haven't noticed anything but I quit playing Farmville because it slowed my computer down so much.

I seem to have about $3M staying in my bank...I spend some on a job and then earn it right back.  Those 1% jobs take awhile and earn you much Baht.

I'm trying to be good and now finish the levels in order so I can sell off the crap when I'm done to get more Baht.  I'm on 5B right now...I think the next level is the finale.  So there will be a chunk of change to work on the last two!

Quick tip for those early in Vegas. Load up on the alarm codes and hotel swipe cards when they are available for low energy. Need them for district 7 and 8. Not sure how many really, nothing like satellite phones though. Probably can look through the forum and sure someone has calcualted how many you will need.

Also still have extra vault construction items if anyone needs them. Put them on your wishlist and i will send them over.

I apologize for not hitting as many job and item requests as I usually do...my computer is REALLY being a pain in the butt...I can barely play for two minutes before my computer goes crazy!

Dang it.  MW must be having a glitch...several of my completed achievements just uncompleted themselves...including my $1T achievement!  I hope they fix it soon...

Send a support ticket in, otherwise they probably won't.

Last time I sent one of those it got nowhere.  I figure if it happened to me it probably happened to someone else...but if it's not fixed in a week or so I will try to do a support ticket...

What do you mean?  Did you not realize there were four tiers?

Nope.  That's why I stopped.
