As they were unloading, it started pouring rain. One of the cops that was helping them direct traffic said "I haven't seen rain like this in 10 years!" Ha, they failed to see the humor in the irony. I ran into a Brit on Monday who came into town for a week (left his wife and young child back in England - but that's a different story). It was POURING on Monday, and clouds/rain were predicted for the rest of his trip (but it didn't happen). The wife and I were telling him that it almost NEVER rains here, and felt bad that he rented a cabana and wanted to hang out at the pools. He failed to see the humor as well... |
