My son is moving out today. Moving into an apartment about 35-45 minutes away with his girlfriend. I like this girlfriend, and not because he is moving out. She is a keeper and I hope this works out for them. How was your first night as an empty nester? Did you all run around nekkid just because you could. Never mind... I don't want to know GREAT job on the workouts, btw! And this is why you should never drop by Robin's house unexpectedly. Actually I was all alone. Frank was still helping the kids with the move. And then tonight he was at tennis, so once again alone. WTH? |

I have to make a run to the Landfill today, even though it is my day off I am supposed to be running right now. If I didn't have to go to the trash place, I would. Kendra, hope you can make it up sometime over the weekend. Ann, run away, come down! You can rest up in the hammock. Have fabulous FFFFridays! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Good morning Ghoulies! Not too bad of a weekend. Saturday putzed around the house doing some spring cleaning. Yesterday afternoon we went on a trip down a local creek. A lot of other people had the same idea, it was a busy area. We had 4 kayaks, and 17 inner tubes in the water. Donnie and I kayaked the whole time, but Caleb gave up his kayak for a friend and her grandson. Keri traded her kayak out with most of the other kids, they all wanted a turn. Stopped for ice cream on the way home, then crashed the rest of the evening. I'm looking forward to next Monday when I can sleep in! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Happy Monday Ghoulies. Jam packed weekend here: Friday was packet pick up and dinner for the tri. Saturday, the tri. Damn, that is a tough course. Perfect weather though. The Sunday, up early for Jim to run up Chimney Rock. The dog and I were Sherpas. Yesterday afternoon was a leasurly MTB ride at the Biltmore Estate. We rode along the river and there were tons of people floating every type of craft on the water. One guy was on a stand up board with a GIANT German Shepherd. Today, I am tired out. I was going to work in the yard, but I think I'll take Mom (AKA Miss Gloria) shoe shopping! I missed my Ghoulies this weekend |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Good Morning Ghoulies! Sounds like good weekends for all We did two more car shows this weekend. Being the first summer we have had a car to enter, DH is really enjoying it. I am having fun too but this was a full weekend. All day Saturday at a show with 500 cars. Then the annual "controlled cruise" down town on Saturday night. They block off a stretch on one of the main streets and up to 500 cars can cruise up and down ignoring traffic lights and with no cross traffic. A big crowd of people line the sidewalks to watch the spectacle. People are yelling and clapping for favorite cars or people they know. The hot rodders are waving at people in other cars and on the sidewalk. The "cruising" cars stop and pick up people that they know to take them for a couple of rounds to enjoy the car and see all the other people. It is pretty fun! Then Sunday afternoon went to a small show in the Home Depot parking that benefited the Veterans. Pretty laid back but Had some nice visiting with people. On the way home stopped by a party for a long time friend who is turning 90 this week. Saw a lot of people we had seen for ages, so lots of fun. Then I did have to run back (well, drive) to get some basics at the grocery. Today I will work, do more grocery shopping, and hopefully a run with Hanna. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action So today is the first day of the new school year with both kids in school. I can't believe my daughter is a senior! Eek! J started a new school this year--he's now on a traditional calendar, so I won't have the crazy on again-off again of the year round school schedule this year. Hallelujah!!!
I'll probably be lurking a bit today--the CO detector in the house was going off this morning, so I am currently on the back porch, waiting for the tech from the HVAC company to come measure the levels and tell me what I'm supposed to do now. (and of course, Hubby is out of the country. Go figure.). |

We can have dinner over the fire pit. |

I'd open some windows and go make myself a sandwich. If you're only in there for a few minutes you should be fine. Or just order something you can have delivered. |
