Maybe I'll turn it back on. I HATE beach volleyball I don't hate beach volleyball. I just don't understand why the women wear such skimpy little outfits, while the men wear tank tops and shorts. Um, let me rephrase that. I understand why people WANT the women to wear those outfits. But I don't understand why the women DO wear them.... Perhaps we should switch it? The women can wear tank tops and shorts. And the guys can wear tiny little speedos.... Yeah, I'd watch more beach volleyball then.  Anyway, if swimming is coming on soon -- well, I'm off to go watch. |

But we still had time to go to the SPCA (which was the plan) and we adopted a dog (our family's first...we were waiting until the girls were old enough)...here's Chewie (short for Chewbacca...he doesn't seem to chew things much). He's an almost-3-year old terrier mix.  Getting the dog & all his stuff took a while, so I didn't run until evening - but I did get a chance to watch the swimming last night. Man - Phelps is teh roxxor. |
