pleased to announce, I'm done with Italy now...

Just have TWO freaking jobs to do in Bangkok and I will be done with everything...  But it's going to take a while.  Still trying to save up 2 million in baht.  It should go a LITLE faster since I will just do bangkok jobs to help raise the funds.

Congrats on Italy! Got any leftover rail tickets for me?  Let me know and I'll put it on my wishlist.

$2M is nothing!  You'll be done in no time!

Edited to add: Make sure you are in Bangkok when you click to send people stuff for the their football stadiums.  That's worth $25k Baht!

Since I am done with all of the cities, I've been farming for smart phones in Italy.  Hopefully, I will have a head start when they open the new episodes.  I am betting that at least one of the new jobs will need them.

Now that I have a nice stash, I'm willing to start farming for consumables for others in any city.  I have a little over 50 satellite phones that I farmed today.  Let me know who needs them and I'll send them your way.  Also, let me know what consumables you need so I know what I should spend time farming.  All I ask in return is that you send me a free gift regularly.  (Hint, hint.  I could use property parts for Italy and Las Vegas.)

I could use rail tickets for Italy.  I will put it on my wishlist if it makes it easier.  And I was going to ask for property parts for Italy/Vegas but since you need those too it won't help.  Anyway, if you get bored, some rail tickets would be fabulous!

Edited to add...apparently you cannot gift rail tickets or put them on your wishlist.  WTF???

Apparently, rail tickets, hidden charges, and smart phones in Italy are not giftable.  I can't remember any of the other consumables in Italy, but my assumption is that none of the consumables in Italy are giftable.  That sucks!

ETA - If you haven't gotten very far in Italy yet, you are really not going to like that smart phones are not giftable.

What region do you farm for smart phones on?  I guess that's a region I shouldn't get past an early level without looting as many as possible.   

Okay, well...if you can't gift the Italy loot then I could use some Vegas stuff...hotel security cards and alarm codes.  They will be on my wishlist shortly.  I only have one or so levels left so I don't need a TON but if you have any that would be awesome.

Gah!  I messed up.  I knew I needed some stuff from Episode 6 in Episode 7, but I sold SOME of them because I didn't realize Episode 7 would need more in Level 4.  So...now I'm waiting on Baht to buy Seux Machine guns when I would have probably been about halfway there had I not sold some of the ones I had.  Bummer.

I need 1.5M for the first job in Chapter 1 and another 4 or so for the second job.  This could take awhile. 

I'm SOOOOO pissed...

I just opened the LAST job on the LAST Tier in Bangkok.  Once I'm done with that?  I'm done with ALL the cities.

But I need 13 MILLION baht to get the items.  The job I JUST did needed half that, and it took a MONTH to collect enough through my businesses...

I'm going to waste energy repeating Bangkok jobs to hopefully quicken it, but I may be around for another month, to do ONE JOB...

Bangkok is unfair, I tell you.

I just did a job and had 100k baht built up, and two people drained me in 30 seconds of ALL OF IT...

If there is ever a time I wish I could put a REAL hit on someone?  This would be it...  hate them.

I'm really surprised Zynga hasn't fixed it.  Typically when there is an outcry from the players they will readjust.  They did it in Moscow when it first opened.

I collected Baht a little faster by fighting exclusively in Bangkok.  Typically at least once a day I would get enough to buy ONE item.  And I would buy that one item without banking money to save the 7%.  I can't even farm right now because I don't have a single Bangkok job open that I don't need stuff for (because I sold off all my Episode 6 stuff).  But I have plenty of work left to do in Vegas and Italy.  So I'll just do that until I have enough to open up a job.  By then I might be done with Vegas/Italy and I can just farm for Baht.

Frustrating when that happens.  I try to be below 20 before doing any jobs.  And if I earn any money fighting I immediately go buy something with it. 

Seriously pizzed... Am I missing something?  All my businesses are maxed out EXCEPT for the gambling den...  I can spend 190k to gain only 7k every 72 hours.  At that rate, it would take 80 DAYS to even make up for the down payment of 190k!!!! Before I make a PENNY of profit.  So I never say the plus side.  I can do a dozen fights and get 7k...

I don't get it.  I can't be the only one with this issue.

They could just let you buy more Baht.  At this point, I would use my 10 RP to get a million or so..   But it's only 240k.  Not worth it...  For that, I can buy energy and farm for that much...  AND level up...  just.don't.get.it

Do you remember if you need to buy something for EVERY job of Level 7?  It would be nice to know if at least a few open up that don't need Baht... 

I am 99% sure you need to buy something for EVERY job...  Sucks.  And each time (for level 4) it's over 3 million for the EACH ITEM.   And many times you need 2-3 of them...  So 3-9 million for each job is typical.

Wishful thinking.  If I remember correctly, there was 1 or 2 that were cheap compared to the other jobs.

Wow can't believe some of you are finished, I keep believeing I will see that day, am on the ruby level of the last chapter in Vegas, still have level 4 mastery in chapter 6 for Bankok to go, and then 2,3,4 for Chapter 7. Plus all except the first level for Italy. Just keep plugging away.

Little thing I noticed that you may or may not know, when people send you gift requests, go into Mafia Wars first to accept them through there app, then when you click on Game Requests on Facebook you can collect them again - at least it works for me, so have been getting double of most things when I get a gift.

Me, too.  Let's hope they don't fix it.

Me three!  I've been meaning to post about that and keep forgetting.  Glad someone else did!  It's especially good for these "collect items" events.  BTW, another thing I do is stop accepting them once I get to 16/16 on something.  People still send them and I just let them sit there.  Once I get all three I then "replay event" and typically I'm almost halfway to full mastery again with the extras I've collected!  I got through the serial assassins event TWICE fully (and yes, you get the good 1xx/1xx item each time) and got through the second level on each one a third time.  I am hoping for three on the cakes.  Need to get sending!
